Lie is a strong word, but I do believe that science can be mistaken, and misinterpreted towards false conclusions.

Science doesn't lie. People who have access to information discovered through science, however, will often contort and misrepresent the results to serve their own agenda.

Now before your head explodes in an arrogant assuming spiraling vortex of ignorance, there are Scientists and then there are "Scientists". The difference is one desires the truth, while the other will damn the truth for an agenda and a paycheck.

Good science never lies. Bad science is false and it results in a lot of disappointment and screaming.
