What I expect of Bungie with Destiny.
I just want to start saying that I am a HUGE Bungie Halo fan, and I have loved all the Halo games bungie has put out. I was really disappointed with the direction of Halo when 343 took over, but I regained hope in my console adventures when I heard about Destiny. Bungie has helped me set a standard for video games!
This is the type of gamer I am, I love a good campaign, but for replay-ability I need a balanced and challenging multiplayer. I also like Call of Duty, but I find myself getting bored because its the same game since COD 4, with minor changes.
In order for myself to fully enjoy Destiny, I would NEED a ranking system, it doesn't need to be 0-50 like the Halo games, but something like what league of legends, or Starcraft does! Why? It makes me want to play the game because I have a GOAL! I NEED THAT 50! Yes I know with ranking comes cheating, selling accounts, and many more things, but a good banning system will keep most of that in check! I also want balanced maps, symmetrical maps that allow an EVEN game for both sides to take part of. I would also like small - medium sized maps, this is where Halo 4 fell off for me is because they were to oriented on BIG vehicle type maps. Don't get me wrong, I love a BTB every once in a while, but small maps are the competitor in me! I already assume that we will have shields, and I think this was confirmed in some video. I am also not saying that all the multiplayer has to be like this, I just hope you guys do what you did with Halo 2, 3 where you had a social, and competitive playlist. Allowing people who want to play hardcore to be set apart from the people who want to go on a Warthog Killing spree! (Not that there is anything wrong with that) Please bungie I have no games on a console that give me the fun, challenge, and replayability that Halo 2,3, gave me! I know you guys are doing a great job, and like I said I am buying the game regardless, and this is just my opinion on what I am hoping for. Let me know if there are gamers like me on here? or if you guys are looking for something else?

7 RepliesI don't like PvP, mostly because I don't like walking around saying "I'M the best player out here!" ... I just wanna have fun with Destiny, and PvP just isn't fun for me...

I want room to grow my crops, and maybe some knights to keep the dirty noblemen savages from leeching my hard work.

I want some sort of true skill system again. I loved that stuff. I remember nerve wracking games of Lone Wolves in H3 where I knew if I lost I'd go down in rank. Then there were times when I'd get paired with a group of people much higher ranked than me, it gave me the greatest sense of accomplishment (ironic) when I beat them.
