A well thought out post. True, Bungie just might be selling us a smokescreen, and all we are left with is an online Skyrim of sorts with nothing to explore but dungeons on far away planets, having our own private loot stream and playing with friends with raids. Wait a minute, that does not sound that bad. What you need to keep in mind is even if the story is flat and bland, which I seriously doubt as we are talking about the creators of the Halo universe, the other aspects of the game will make it unique, especially true when it comes to console gaming. Taking all this into account, and you are looking at least a "unique" experience for each and everyone of us. The imagination of the Bungie community is vast, colorful and above all, it's creative. Bungie listens, and when it comes down to it, Bungie never lets down its own. Be brave is half the story; you need some faith to go along with it.
