When you go to click on a thread or something you mouse is just under or above it, resulting in you clicking on the tag rather than the thread. Just be a bit more careful where you click and the problem should dissipate.
It seems that I will occasionally be directed to the tag #SexyLonghorn without reason. The tag doesn't seem to be present in the forum at this time (though I do know it exists), and I clicked the tag links on the left side (not the Followed Tags). Unfortunately, I have no way to consistently reproduce this, but it appears to occur on average once per 500 or so page openings (by way of clicking on them from the left screen side navigator). Interestingly enough, it only sends me to that one particular tag. I've provided a screen capture showing my page being on the Gaming tag with the Gaming tag background, and URL showing that I should be in the Gaming tag. I've also had this occur when navigating to the OffTopic tag. In total, I have had this happen maybe 12 times over the last two months. My browser is FireFox 21.0. I am not running scripts that affect this website (that I know of at least). Edit: Here is a pastebin link to show what FireFox had in its Inspect Element mode.
