The fate of Tau Ceti IV in Marathon.
In the end of Marathon, it says that nine other cyborgs revealed them selves and beat back the Pfhor, and that casualties were no where near as bad as on the Marathon, however, in the end of Durandal, it says that the colony was nuked to bedrock. Can someone please explain what happened to the colony for me?

Tycho said that the 9 cyborgs gave off a different spectra (than the human colonists) when they were vaporized and that our fate and outcome (as the Security Officer) would be no different.
