My imagination disturbs me (Blogscussion)

So I had a nightmare last night. it wasn't that odd, but the ending was... unexpected. TL;DR: I was besieged by monsters in a tunnel of an imaginary city and ended up committing suicide so I wouldn't be eaten. Reality shifted and I was being treated by a paramedic in the real world. It shifted again and a demon was in my room.
I lived in an industrial area of a city. My Mum was a 'security designer'. She had created a tunnel-room in which you can stand in and press a button to seal it off for thirty seconds. Once the thirty seconds is up, the gates open back up unless you press the button again when they begin to open. I'm not sure what the purpose of it was, but I can imagine it being used to control mass amounts of people entering areas. The city we lived in seemed very controlling, so it could have fitted. While she was showing off the room/device, a guy came running in saying that something otherworldly was in the next room. That if the door into it was opened, all hell would break loose. Mum opened it from the computer console, deciding that the threat could be an excuse to test the device. As soon as she opened the other room there was a screaming roar from somewhere nearby (similar to the Horde screams in L4D games). The guy yelled "what have you done?" And ran out. The closing button for our tunnel was pressed and we waited inside for a while, pressing it every thirty seconds to ensure we were kept safe inside. We ended up letting some other people in who were running from whatever was outside and one of them dropped a pistol on the floor, saying that it "doesn't hurt them." After a bit longer in the room, I got a phone call which was basically just a distorted recording of an interview between an old woman and a child. I hung up as she spoke on a loudspeaker and told us that if we managed to play the board game in the next room (supposedly the origin of the creatures) in the next room exactly as it had been played the first time, she would let us live. Mum decided that we could try it, so didn't press the button. The gates opened up and one of the guys trapped with us yelled at her. I said that we couldn't possibly get every dice roll the same as the first time it was used; the chances were too great. She nodded, started crying and picked up the discarded pistol before shooting herself. This is where I saw the monsters. They were just dirty people with white eyes and sharp teeth. They charged into the room, trying to devour me. Just as one grabbed my left arm, I fired a shot into my own head. Suddenly I was in my bed. It was morning and the light was on. Holding my left arm was a paramedic. The world shifted again and it was nighttime. I was still in my bed and the only difference was a demon crouching on the bed opposite me. The world shifted for a third time and I was fully awake in reality.
/wall Thoughts?

 • Well isn't that lovely? I took a nap 3 hours ago and I dreamed I was spiderman fighting a nice, but passive aggressive black spiderman guy on the facade of my local University. Anyway, he beat the crap out of me and knocked me unconscious and I woke up at the university's pond. then I woke up.
