I must be blind, I couldn't find the playlist.... I wanted to play. Now I am sad panda, and nobody likes a sad panda.

Interesting playlist. Save one bullet was fun, but I didn't like camo zombies at all. Zombies should not have shields, camo, resistance or a radar. Save one bullet was good, but the zombies didn't die enough. A zombie playlist would own. Have a different leveling system, that makes it still just as hard to get to a high level as in normal playlists, and it would work well. Definitely bring something like this back in the future. Maybe some sort of reward for a certain level?

Thanks Bungie I was going to go to the bar last night... but I ended up playing infection untill 4am. Nice suprise though more stuff like this in the future please it was really fun.

Thanks Bungie for the fun Halloween treat. It was an interesting change of pace from the other gametypes. I particularly liked the map names and the fact that the playlist had room for 13 players. Very appropriate. Always so clever with the numbers, aren't you? It was fun, but I think it could use a little tweaking. In some games, the last man standing would decide that instead of getting killed and letting us move on to the next round he would repeatedly jump off the edge of the map. Of course he kept suffering a penalty, which is good, but it was boring for the rest of us having to wait for the timer to end or someone to be lucky enough to be near him and kill him when he spawned. The variations on the maps were cool, though I noticed some issues when a large number of barrels would explode--usually I'd see "lag" or unusual physics for a second or two. Not a big deal, but looked a little wonky. Infection seems to have a bit of a bug in it when you first spawn on either team. It takes about a second for you to join a team after spawning, and as such you show up as an enemy to other players (red on the radar and in the reticle). I saw numerous cases of teamkills because of this--a player would spawn in front of you and appear to be an enemy and you'd respond by lunging at them only to be punished with a betrayal. Not cool. I also noticed in some matches that zombie (and sometimes human) players decided they would just run around and teamkill the other players, either just to grief or, more likely, to get more kills or be the one who killed the last man standing. This didn't happen a lot, but it was annoying when it did. Finally, although the variations on the gametype were interesting, I didn't get to see many of them--it seemed like most of the time a majority of the people would veto anytime they saw the creeping or rocket variant (and then complain if the new gametype was similar). I don't know if many people really didn't want to play them or if it was just because one or two people were vehemently yelling "Veto this! This gametype sucks! You don't want to play it!" Of course, I instantly mute anyone who yells veto. :) Regardless of these issues, it was a fun diversion. Thanks!

I'm with you, man... it was REALLY unclear if multiple players were able to start Matchmaking. If you have 3 players and try Campaign, the game lets you know there are too many. Same with multiple people on Lone Wolves. IT WOULD LET YOU KNOW. Big props to Bungie for letting us sit through 10 minutes of unsuccessful Matchmaking with a friend. =P /slap [Edited on 11.01.2007 9:19 AM PDT]

Thank you!!!! Thank You!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!! It was a refreshing treat to play this. I like the subtle use of the # 13. Please make this permanent!!! At least give us extra time for the lost time if you were trying to go in with a party. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!!! Can't wait to see what is next!

Look: I know you guys are American, but I am not (no offense though). I don't celebrate Haloween or Thanksgiving (again no offense, because if you didn't, I wouldn't have had zombies). Is bungie going to make special events on celebration days in other countries? Like carnaval? PS: keep up the good work BUNGIE!!!

This was fun. I like the special playlists! It would have been nice to have it longer, you know... for us working folks that only have a couple of hours to play on a week night. I also would have liked to have been able to play with my friends, that's my only gripe. All in all, it was good times... BRING ON THE SPECIAL PLAYLISTS! What will the play list be for Thanksgiving?!!?!?! Thanks for effort, unique ideas like this are always welcome and appreciated by the community.

I did really have a lot of fun on the temporary playlist. But not being able to play with friends was a huge let down. If these do come back, playing with ends would be the biggest thing to look forward to. 7hanks BUNGIE!
-
Didn't like this because I couldn't play it with my friends.
-
im a little confused. why did the medals go onto our ranked but the kills went to our social?
-
that playlist was the most fun ive ever had!! please please keep it in for longer :-( it makes halo even more fun than usual!!! YAY

I played all the maps and game types and it was pretty fun. I'll have to say that its a refreshing change from playing Lone Wolf. I think we need more ranked FFA variations that allows more then 5 people per game. It was pretty fun having 10-13 people per match.
-
Bungie should put the zombie playlist back since when i was playing it, it said there were about 70,000 people playing it and i found it to be a lot of fun. I really dislike the whole spartan laser thing though on a zombies gametype..what happened to the good old pistol and shotty? or AR
-
Loved Zomzibar, Club Dead, Charnel Pit, and Tree Rot was alright and I didn't like the snowbound one though Hated the creeping gametypes cover up that freakin staircase hole 1.5 Thumbs up!! make a perminent social playlist
-
I think it would be a great idea to keep this playliist bungie, many others think so too. Ranked and social for me. [Edited on 11.01.2007 6:47 AM PDT]

this was awesome fun I hope it returns in the future in some form of social playlist
-
I have to agree that this would be a nice added variant to the play lists. Especialy since you couldnt connect with a party. I think a match making playlist with Jugger and zombie and all that would be a nice add on for every man for the self instead of just LW.
-
You could keep it like a social playlist , it would be cool
-
I wouldn't mind if this was a permanant option on ranked playlists, I thought it was cool, and nice maps bungie!
-
I tried to get for hours last night and it never found a game . . . were there any issues?
-
Awesome! Thanks Bungie, it's great to see you guys doing cool things like this to spice our Halo time up. I play a crap ton of infection (probably over half my 250+ games) but it was still awesome to see a playlist with your take on the gametype and some redone maps. Forge maps in matchmaking makes me happy in ways I can't completely describe! But even though everyone wasn't completely happy with the gametypes (I know Bungie.net community complain about something, weird, right?) I think the response is overwhelmingly positive. Please keep surprising us with cool thigns like this!
-
I just wanted to say thank you for the playlist. I really had a blast playing it, even though some people on the human side decided to teamkill for their fun time. I think it would be awesome if you had a constant "Gimmick" playlist set going so we could play these more often. It was my first time playing anything other than just Slayer or Team Slayer, I didn't realize that Forge gave people that much control over the maps. Very well done! :)

Thats so stupid, why not allow multiple players on 1 xbox to join??? Me and my friend actually managed to bypass this rule and got a game. HAHA!!!!!! FU!
-
I haven't had much of a chance to play online yet since I have been busy with work and moving into a new apartment, but I played my first few Infection games last night and loved them. Thanks Bungie! Happy Halloween! :-)
