Once I threw down a bubble shield in the basement of Snowbound the same second some guy was attempting to laser me from one foot away. I'm not sure what happend but when that lazer fired there was a message that the guy had committ suicide. I grabbed his laser and immediately got a double kill via laserr with it. Everyone who said two kills with one laser was tough was doing it wrong. Jut go to the basement of Snowbound, charge the laser and pray for the best. Within a few games you should get the achievement. Moral of the story, that guy, who offed himself trying to laizre my igloo should get a free copy of the recon armour.

the whole - skill rank is not like experience thing is stupid because the two are linked through officer ranks meaning many of us are being unfairly deprived of higher ranks! other than that i cant wait for new content - keep up the good work bungie

I had the same thing happen to me with the sniper suicide..... I knew i should have posted my Clip when it happened. I just didn't think it was that funny. Only marginally funny.

(I'm new to the website so I couldnt figure how to make a post myself, I guess they're all replys. Excuse my not understanding of the forum layout yet ;p ) I think the Recon armor is pretty stylish. But it's been what a few days and all these people are whining and begging for it. If Bungie said you should go out and earn it through the website or making them laugh. Then go earn it. How did you get some of the other sets of armor. You earned it, through achievements. Recon armor is just the ultimate achievement in the game so far. So stop making pictures with guns asking for recon. Stop saying well I had the same video of this happening to me, or I died this way and it was funnier. Bungie saw those guys first. Deal with it. Go out and just play and with the game physics, something much funnier could happen to you. Just play and see what happens and please stop begging for it. Or try to help them run a good website. If anyone woudl look at my last 15 games played. We won every game and I got first on my team almost every game. I went up 2 levels. I do not understand how I did not rank up more concidering that I obviously was better than the people I was playing against. I guess I still do not get the ranking system, but from what I got from bungie's explaination I shoudl have ranked up more.

Okay, this whole armor give-away system is cool and everything, but my friend (Gamertag: xixAlkALinExix) definetely deserves the armor. How does he go about getting noticed by Bungie? Everyone who reads this, check his file share. Or mine. Download OMG or TEH PWNED. Just do it.

a) What is recon armor? b) Why would anyone give a -blam!- about recon armor? With all the stuff that I want to do in Halo 3, and the list is like 8 miles long, "tinker with my armor" is not on the list. With that said, that ricoshet snipe and road cone beat down were both pretty cool. And, although I don't personally have any time to tweak my armor, I do enjoy that not everyone looks like MC in multiplayer in Halo 3. I really want to get into Forge. I think that's a mode of Halo 3 that is something special. Also, mega thanks to whoever at Bungie is responsible for online multiplayer. I almost can't wait for my son to head out to college so I can play coop with him over Xbox Live, and turn his room into a study.

lol a friend of mine had exactly the same sniping accident some time ago. he was really frustrated when i told him some1 has had a recon helmet for recording such a clip. i think its a glitch on last resort on that spot. ah well congratz oh the noes

I was watching that live action clip with the marines in suspense the entire time waiting for the meter length thing to get almost to the end and see master chief walk out only for us to catch a glimpse but it didnt happen but I cant wait to see more thats for sure. this game and community keeps getting better and better everyday.

Great update as usual. Looking forward to some suckas getting the hammer dropped on them. And the Video of the marines might be one of the best things I have ever seen in my whole life.

Thats cool that you gave out the recon armor. I hope that there are other ways to get it other than by making funny videos lol. I cant make videos for crap! Also I think it would be very cool to have a contest where the winner wins a trip to meet with Halo 3 concept art ppl (or whatever their professional title is) and gets to make his own set of armor that nobody else can have. Would def make more ppl be a lot diff if there were random contests for winners to create their own armor set or helmet. I think we would all see some very very cool designs. I hope we can get cool stuff for having sick kills or something haha. Like I said I cant make funny videos so I hope the guys out there like me can get cool stuff for pulling off something sick.

I hope that this special Halloween content hangs around for awhile… I just got the “Three Red Rings of Death” last time I was playing Halo 3 and had to send it away for repairs… I am dying to get back on, and now even more so, but it’s going to take 2-6 weeks! I do think you should still see it though because it should still give you some form of bragging rights, and besides, it helps identify if you and your friends are really on the same level or not. It helps to show who the weakest link is and there by who we should cover or watch out for more. I am however still finding that some people are definitly not the rank they show, and that frustrates the crap out of me. It really isn’t any fun getting totally destroyed by a group that is far superior to your own. The last team tactical that three of my friends and I played we ended up facing a bunch of 40-45. We were all rank 1 as we had never played tactical before… None of us have ever been above a rank of 33 before either. We got totally destroyed, it wasn’t even fun. I do hope that this is taken seriously and is address in some way.
