About the controller and button layout. Seriously... Are you bound to puch the D-pad to be able to communicate with your team in H3? If so that's gonna be the worst -blam!- I've ever witnessed. So now you gotta drop everything you're down just to be able to say a few lines? I really hope that it isn't the case. Should be able to communicate with your team without pushing a button. Just like in Gears of war and Call of duty 3. I actually doubt that any other game has that stupid function. You can still have proximity voice hearing on, but you can always hear your team. I mean seriously... it is the most stupid and annoying function ever. In H2 the button you push the most is the "speak" button. And that's just annoying and stupid. One thing console games lack compared to computer games is the option to fully costomize the button layout on the controller. Few games has that function and I don't understand why. It would really take Halo to the next level if you could fully costumize the button layout. And no it wouldn't get "unfair" in any way since everyone can make the controller totally your own. Since I started playing H2 on the 360 I've wanted to put the punsh button on RB and change granade switch to the B-button. It is really stupid that you can't personalize the button layout. And the last thing... In H3 EVERYONE wants to see a REGIONAL FILTER in Matchmaking! People don't want to play against other players with a overseas host, due to the lag and delay it causes!
