Failed to load content? Don't get it
connot play game in campaign, will not load game says " Players failed to load content. any help?

I have the same problem but I can't load up Floodgate. All there is to it is to just make sure the disc doesn't get scratched and there should be no problems. If your xbox is scratching the discs you should send it in for repairs if the disc reader is faulty and scratchy up all your game discs. It wiped out my friend's collection before he realized what his 360 was doing to his games.

Either get a new disc or get a scratchremover becuase it has to do with the disc being scratched.

Hi, I have the same problem, I completed the game months ago, and then all of a sudden when I tried to play the other day, I got the "failed to load content" message. My son's xbox works just fine with the same disk, so what is going on? I have an elite and he has a regular 360 with the 20gb drive. I can only assume that the last update to either the OS or the GAME has caused this issue and it is up to Microsoft and Bungie to issue a fix.

Seriously this is an actual problem that bungie needs to address. In their weekly updates they always answer some users question about when the legendary maps are gonna be free instead of actually answering a question about a major problem in their masterpeice game. Im seriously sick of hearing all of the complaints about this and then not seeing anything done by bungie to even hint as to this problems existence. what we need to do is message bungie about this not put it on a forum, they never even read these. Goddamit bungie!

I fail to load High Ground, Valhalla, and also a TON of halo 2 maps. Bungie needs to fix this NOW.

Yeah, I did this but when I try to load maps it just says "Player failed to load conten." It didn't help at all I don't think anymore Ideas?

Apparantly it is caused by the laser scratching the disc, it may be a problem because halo 3 uses so much processer power that it can shake the console around.

Count me in the group of mad customers I've had my normal game since launch but a few days ago it began it's hellish decent into not BLAM working!! My disc has a few scratches here and there but otherwise it is great, it just infuriates me that after having an awesome game it just dies. what I'm wondering is what is causing this because it seems it could happen at any time each disc is a ticking time bomb to not work and P.O. someone. From the random solutions don't really help me pin the true cause but if anyone finds a answer please try and see what was wrong and state what you did to fix ---blank---- (no i dont mean the fail to load i mean what is causeing the fail to load)

I have this same problem. However I can fix it. It only occurs when I have the legendary map pack on my hdd. I deleted it and my game played fine loading all the maps. When I have the map pack on the hdd, Only DLC maps load. I'm really confused as to what to do.

I had the same problem until this morning. id cleaned it before and it the problem still persisted. but i decided to spray it with window cleaner and give it a wipe. works fine now, been in matchmaking all morning.

u guys are lucky. my disc doesnt even work anymore. all i get is the disc unreadable message when i put it in. it doesnt even start and i have tried a million different things but it wont start. i really dont want to buy another $60 disc

hey i just fixed it we used some cleaning spray on the disk just sprayed a rag and cleaned the disk so theres how i fixed it
