Hmm, also in a book by Orison Scott Card that I had to read for english class (oh joy). In it the royal palace was the septagon, and there were a few more parellels/strange coincidences that you could find between the 7C and the book.
Also, was the 7C named for the Septagon, or the Septagon for the 7C? After all, 7 is Sept in uhh... some old language... latin? It's the whole Tri Quad Pent Hex Sept Oct and I don't know the rest.
