Welcome them with open arms and jokes about their mothers at the ready.
If they can't take a joke, clearly they don't belong.
That being said, it might be helpful for us to get a few Destiny experts up and ready to help the new kids along should they need it. If I were new, having someone to show me around would certainly make me feel welcome.
