There should be no differences between them. Just play Splinter Cell multiplayer. Being the Merc sucks. Absolutely sucks. They spies are the best because they are too cool. If Halo 2 has different attributes for multiplayer characters, then one will be better, and people will always play as them. Unless Bungie whips out their uber balance machine. That would be cool.
