The British Empire was capturing American vessels and forcing their crew to serve on British warships, trying to restrict American trade, supplying native tribes with weapons, ammunition, et cetera to attack the US, and a host of other issues. You're trying to to say the US started 1812 in the face of all the evidence that points to the contrary?[/quote] Our country held the right to arrest deserters and traitors to the UK that where employed in the U.S navy, the only reason trade suffered in America was because of the royal navy blockade to prevent France trading, which was necessary since napoleon was doing the whole "Conquer all of Europe" thing at the time. The only reason Britain supplied the natives with weapons was to slow down the land grab and cultural genocide the U.S was committing at the time, there is a reason they where attacking the colonies, and we all know America would have looked to control Canada in the greed the U.S was founded upon.
