I Will Refuse To Play Destiny...

Unless it has Dragons.  That's right, you heard me. Yeah, you. Now I'm sure you're asking, "Now come on OP, haven't you hears of the term 'beating the dead horse?'" And now that you ask, no.  No I haven't. Now moving on... Who has been so loyal and generous, as to provide us a light in these darkest of days? Dragons. We are a part of them, as much as they are a part of us. If you do not respect them, you do not respect yourself. The same could be said for Bungie as an entity... If they truly wished to honor themselves, as well as their fierce and loyal Community, they would be wise to heed our advisement. Put, Dragons... In... DESTINY.  Every game that has ever been without Dragons, is garbage.  Every Community that has ever been without Dragons is trash.  Destiny without Dragons will surely fail. Mark my words Bungie, mark my words.  I'm sure many of you think I am kidding. Well, I kid you not. The dawn of a new Community is upon us, where soon the darkness will be COMPLETELY stripped away, as The Dragons will light the way ahead and be our beacon of hope will shine out the clearer. Our symbol of Community, power, ferocity, and wonder will reign over all. And if we see the light shine towards Destiny without the inclusion of Dragons,  then fire and ash will fall from the heavens until one brave and intelligent soul sees the path of tru7h, and programs Dragons into the game coding.  Adding amazing to what is already amazing, makes that thing double-amazing. Destiny will surly be great. But Dragons will ensure the competition is left in ashes and ruin in the smoke. The power of Dragons fused with Destiny will increase the fire, the power, the size, the majestic and wonder of Bungie's future title. Do not make this potential tragic mistake Bungie. I'm serious.

With that said, almost every game in todays market has some level of customization. One of the most common is armor, guns, and skins. So stuff that either gives you powers, makes you stronger and/or more deadly, or does nothing but give you a shiny coat(or in valves case hat). And the latter would actually be a very interesting idea. We all know the darkness will "lift" on a specific day. And from that day forward the total of people joining will sharply increase. What if, everyone who had joined before that date was granted that skin? It would be like the nameplates for Reach. Something you have to activate via the forums, and only if a certain requirement has been met could you have it? It would also go as far as to include a mythic skin, and so on so forth, although these could be unlocked by anyone at any point. Obviously people WILL complain that they want it, that its not fair. Will in Mass Effect 3 you could only get some guns by preorder, and if you didn't get blue flame before Bungie day then tough. So the whole "recon melt down" shouldn't occur again. And even if it did, too bad. It would be a way for Bungie to not only show some love for their loyal community, since given Bungie's track record they probably already covered that day one, but it will also be something that the community designed. Not like recon which Bungie thought but. It was their loyal community that in the darkness came together around something and said "We will do, say, or talk about whatever we have to, so that that fire doesn't go out" And lets face it. Dragon armor? Dragon skin? Maybe a screw gun........To much? [Edited on 09.09.2012 11:47 AM PDT]
