Clarifying the Storm Covenant's and Covenant's Belief System
So I understand that the Storm still hate the humans and the Covenant want to ally with the humans. And I also understand that the Storm are still in search of Forerunner artifacts. But does the Storm still believe in activating the Halos? Are they exactly like the old Covenant? And does the new Covenant still revere the Forerunners as gods?

They probably still believe the same thing. The covenants been in existence for thousands of years, so it's going to be a tad difficult to just get everyone to change their mind about every belief they've been raised with.
