This forum is for discussing the Bungie Universe, not for us to whine about how bad Bungie is for leaving Halo. That's for the Community forum. Either way, nobody likes idiots like OP.
Thanks for calling me a idiot. I mean, I'm no one special in this community. And I just want to point out that you have no idea who I am and a couple of paragraphs won't give you massive clues. But I am a proper Halo/Bungie fan and It's the right place to give that opinion about them leaving. I've only been a fan of Bungie since the mid-Marathon series, invested thousands in their work. I am entitled to question why they left and give a few idiotic words about it. Anyway. I'm still a fan, still following Bungie. It's not a whiny post. And there is where I think you misread.
I apologise for the rather sharp comment I made earlier. My mood was a bit sour at the moment. I attacked you based on not who you were, but by the statements you made. I understand that you feel that Bungie would have done a better job with Halo than 343, but I am also rather disappointed by the fact that you do not respect Bungie's decision in this matter. I want to ask you a question: Are you a Halo fan? Or a Bungie fan? I think that if you are a Bungie fan, you would respect their decision to move on from Halo, and support them through various ways as a community member. If you are a Halo fan, you would want Halo to continue to be good, or improve, even. In this case your roles conflict. You want Halo to be good, yet you want Bungie to continue to be awesome, right? Having Bungie back in the Halo Universe is not the solution. As a fellow Halo fan, I understand that you want the best for the series, but I regret to inform you that we have to pin our hopes on 343 Industries now. There are other ways to improve the series, including giving feedback to 343(which may or may not work).  However, whether the Halo series continues to decline in your eyes, Bungie will still make its own games, so if you truly believe that the Halo franchise is a sinking ship, perhaps you should consider leaving it behind in favour of other games. I understand how you feel. I've been a Halo fan since CE too. I, too, feel that Bungie would do a better job with Halo, but I stand by their decision to move to greener fields.
I like the sweeter touch then your sour patch approach earlier ;p I think I am both, Halo and Bungie. I always talk up Halo to everyone and always invite new players round to watch and experience how good it is. It's the adrenaline to get in the last kill, or how action packed some of the campaign is, the beautiful animation of grenade detonation or frigate explosions.  I have a friend who worked on Fable III and is now a QA tester at EA (we're both in the same fields) and I showed him Halo 3, after that, when we went out drinking, we had LAN parties beforehand with the group we were partying with, whoever lost drank a shot of tequila  and the absolute loser had a shot of Absinthe :P I'm always getting new people into Halo. And the Halo I love is Bungie's finest work, I didn't doubt 343i when I saw all the perfectly chosen trailers to advertise how awesome Halo 4 looked. Looked, that's a great word, it looks amazing but after playing it for sometime, a glitch here, collision contact between the warthog and surface was visually off by 3-4 in-game inchs, actual holes in the campaign which makes you fall through the level (Infinity), poorly executed explosions in the campaign and Spec Ops, sorry, Spartan ops. But the main problem, so much is the lack of communication with the community (which I believe Frank O'Conner was on Bungie's community team ironically), So many problems are not addressed on Waypoint. This is just frustrating for the fans and not many of my friends can be bothered to play because of this reason. Out of all the controversy as to why Bungie left, I remember watching Halo 2's "the making", and how they had to cut so many things out because of the deadline. It makes me think how much better it would have been if they had the time to create the vision. I always thought they left because of these reasons.  But, I am waiting patiently for Destiny, like I was waiting for Halo 2 when I first saw Chief duel-wielding SMG's. It's all about the detail for me and Bungie nails it every time. Thanks for the revised post, and thanks for posting too guys.
