Bungie Weekly Update
A light update this week, but with heavy news about stuff that's happening next week, which, coincidentally is the birthday of the original Halo for Xbox. Coincidence? Nothing is a coincidence.

Nice update, but please(and i'm not trying to be mean/rude): don't give a playlist update unless it includes the bringing back of 1v1 or CLAN MATCH. These new unranked gametypes are fun, and Team SWAT is a blast, but clanmatch was the sole purpose of clans in the firstplace, right? Nowadays, clans are rotting in the back of the halo universe as School Clans, or Production Clans (as myself is in). In my point of view, having clans with no clanmatch is a torture Ninja is putting on the players of Halo 2 Xbox live. Everytime I look at my clan list, i sigh and wonder where that little level at the top right of the screen went. Anyways, solid update and hope to see some massivly informitive tidbits of Halo 3 next week!

If there is a female voice then does this mean that there will be a female spartan in the campaign? No other Spartan survived the fall of Reach (read the book), so where the heck did she come from if she exists?

I MUST HAVE female voices for multiplayer characters! that is so cool. i would play with a female voice...

That being said, the human form, male and female varies. Granted, a female spartan form should not look like something out of an anime, but come on. The armor is going to fit a little differently for each person that puts it on. I find it a bit of a strech to think that every spartan came out of the program at seven feet tall with matching frames. Say that the MC and Linda were to stand next to eachother, would Linda's outline not appear slightly leaner? Some one who knew nothing of spartans would not know the difference, but other spartans would be able to venture a pretty good guess based on the bulk. [Edited on 11/13/2006]

the halo series books were awesome!as a matter of fact i'm rereadin the series for the thousandth time...not really but i wish. andyways i'm readin the fall of reach and i just passed the part where keyes displays brilliant space fighting manuvers and i fell in love all over again, and "ghosts" will probably not be any different! looking forward to it!

Oooooh! The Next update had better be good Bungie! Im getting Gears Of War on Friday, so it had better be worth my while putting down GOW to check it out.... =P

That wolud be cool if we cold have a Female Spartan too. That way when im pwning my GF i can hear a female sreaming instead of a man.=P

Not disappointing at all whoever said that. This update has me all excited and tingly inside. I'm gonna try and get Ghosts of Onyx soon so I can finally finish the series. And as for the playlists... I hope they don't take out BTB skirmish.. its good.

Frankie, what's the dill, yo? You can't hear a single bit of SFX in the 1UP show! They played the Halo title track over the whole thing. I want my SFX :(

Personally, especially because I am a girl, the woman voice would be awesome, but frankly I dont think it would be that big of a deal to put the voice in. Im sure Bungie is trying to make the game not as bias I guess you could say, but seriousely what is a voice going to do, wahooo? No, what I dont think Bungie knows is that every girl I have ever played with, and even some guys, think they should make a chick spartan, at least for Xbox Live. I'd use the female Spartan voice if it were an option. A female spartan model (with armor boobs), not so much. Although that would probably rob KP of several months' worth of happy dreams. [Edited on 11/12/2006]

Yea the girls voice is a great idea so says my sister. She says she'll be very happy if you implament the voice. I'm still waiting for the damn magizine to come out everyday I work I run over to the mag racks to see if it's poped up. :D
