According to [url=http://games.slashdot.org/story/12/12/07/2250252/gamespys-new-owners-begin-disabling-multiplayer-without-warning?utm_source=slashdot&utm_medium=twitter]this article[/url], GameSpy (the server provider for Halo PC and Halo PC : CE) has shut down many servers. At the moment, this appears to include the servers for Halo on the PC. While this is not official, this appears to be the case.
