Plus you can do the exact same trial style mods in Halo PC, with any map. It's why Halo PC has a bunch of mod servers.
Oh and you can run dedicated servers 24x7 on PC/CE. So you don't need to keep the game running just to host, just the server, and you can even launch the game then join your hosted server, and you can do a lot more too on said hosted server.
