Does anybody use it? I've never really acknowledged its prescence and when writing my last post I accidentally clicked on it, hence forth it is now an inconvenience. Should I ever have the desire to erase my post-in-the-making I shall go back a page or click on the banner at the top taking me to the forum which that thread was made In.
The question I pose to you now is should it exist or should it be terminated with extreme prejudice ( pretend you have the power to do this)?
P.s. this is the cancel button you get when you're writting a post.
-
Nope, if I feel like cancelling, I just hit the banner at the top
-
I've used it on the extremely rare occasion.
-
All the time when I realize what I posted may get me in some serious -blam!-.
-
I do. When I am writing something's I change my mind, and cancel it all.
-
I do accidentally a lot. Never intentionally.
-
I just click the back button to bring me back to the thread.
-
If i really ever feel like cancelling my post, i hit the back button or banner. The only time ive ever hit that button is on accident.
Posted by: catman6 Nope, if I feel like cancelling, I just hit the banner at the top
Same, but rather than the banner, I am part of the forum topics master race. We are far superior to the banner noobs.
-
On accident, I hit it all the time. I've never hit it with the intention to hit it, though.
-
Only when editing my own post and change my mind about it. Then it just sends me back to the thread instead of my clicking the banner, then the thread again.
-
I use it all the time. I type a reply and then I just change my mind all of a sudden.
Posted by: Achilles1108 All the time when I realize what I posted may get me in some serious -blam!-.
this, in other words. Probably not serious -blam!-, but -blam!- nonetheless. [Edited on 12.23.2012 4:30 AM PST]

I have used it maybe twice during my time here.
-
The cancel button is murder!
-
It's like a presidential red button.
-
It's easier to just go back.
-
Never.
-
I just hit back.
-
I just close the tab if I decide not to post.
-
And the Most Mundane Thread of the Year goes to OP! ;)
-
I actually do use the cancel button. Unfortunately though it's right in the middle of "quote" and "preview", which leads to shenanigans.
-
EDIT: ^^ What the guy above me said. I enjoy it and use it quite often. [Edited on 12.23.2012 8:05 AM PST]

It's my favorite button. I think more people should use it.
-
Posted by: catman6 Nope, if I feel like cancelling, I just hit the banner at the top
Yep, I do what catman does!
-
Posted by: RigZ Boi And the Most Mundane Thread of the Year goes to OP! ;)
thank you. I am to please.

I think I've used it a couple of times. Usually I just hit the back button, or click on the forum's banner.
