When will we start making WWII games again?
Nowadays, nearly every game is set in the future, or modern times, When I was younger though nearly every game was set in WWII, when will we revisit this era? Most games only dealt with the American perspective, What I'd really like is a WWII game from a German Perspective.

There were enough WWII games back in the day to make one about every soldier in that damned war. I, personally, never want to see another one again.

You'll never see a WW II game from a germans prospective, because that means you would have to kill americans(and also british/russians/younameit), which would cause uproar from soccer moms and the politically correct who think that would be wrong.

It's too bad really, with WaW we were beginning to see a more "realistic," take on the genre in terms of severity, darkness, but heroism as well. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think I'll ever get tired of WWII games because it's a time period so packed with heroes and villains, stories of human excellence and perseverance in time of huge hardship, triumph with great loss. It's really the most dramatic time in history, and with a game you could actually tell real stories of real companies in the war and they would still play out as if they were made up for a videogame, because it was just that crazy. To be honest i'd rather see something to do with WWI. [url=http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=61033606]I made this thread quite a while back and it seems that most people lack the knowledge to ever consider a WWI FPS, many think it would be nothing but camping (Yet many flock to CoD yearly).[/url] I do like the idea of a change in perspective. I'm tired of "SHOOT THE GERMANS! SHOOT THE GERMANS!" in WWII games and "SHOOT THE RUSSIANS! SHOOT THE TERRORISTS!" in mordern ones. So yea, roll out a WWI or WWII game for a change gaming industry. It'd would also be nice to see something with better graphics as WaW is VERY dated now and Sniper Elite V2 isn't an FPS to use as something to compare to (the graphics aren't top spec either).
