they need to bring halo 2 back online!
title says all.
please give me a feedback on what you think they should do.
bring halo 2 back online?
or Just leave it the way it is?

thats all i want i dont want a remake because they will put reach multiplayer again and i know alot of ppl dont want that

Although the only addition would be newer graphics, it would be pretty cool.

If they DO make a remake of halo 2. they should atleast make it like the halo Anniversary. like you should be able to switch from new graphics to old graphics..

They do need to not make a remake, but just enable the servers again. And have the game exactly how it was before. God those where the best years of my life sadly...

A remake is needed because Halo 2 servers don't exist anymore. Also the game [i]will[/i] change a little with a remake.

I dont get why they shut down the servers in the first place. i mean they haven't shut down the original modern warfare servers and there's been mw, waw, mw2, black ops, and mw3...

All original XBL games got shut. It's not just with h2, a lot of games that had Xbox 1 versions got shut down while their PS2 and PC versions are still up. CoD4 ran on 360 live, same with the 360 versions of 2 and 3, however the Xbox 1 version of 3 is shutdown.

Bungie can't do anything about this, but 343 Industries can. I highly doubt that they will turn the servers back on since Microsoft shut down Xbox Live for all of the original games, but I know that 343 Industries can make a remake similar to Halo CE Anniversary. No, they shouldn't. Halo 2 had it's day. You can still play it online with various modding methods.

I imagine they will be doing something with it in the future. M$ would be making bag loads of money with it as Xbox Live exclusive or putting it in the Arcade, so obviously they wouldn't be wasting the opportunity to make money unless there is some future project planned.

pretty much all i want. Haven't really got into gaming since halo2 has been dead. which is sad... part of me died the day halo 2 was taken offline.
