Hahahahaha, oh boy. I don't want it to go man. Played with so many good people today. I was happy. There was nothing wrong at all. It was fun. No skill, no leveling, no trash talking, no stand-by, no super jumps, nothing but good old fashion gaming with good old fashion gamers respecting one another. I loved it but it's time to let go. I wanted play once more on Terminal but I never got to it but I did get to play on Turf (another of my favorites) so it's all good. :) Thank you Bungie for a terrific game It is 5:39 here so good night people. Just got off for the night at 5:34 eastern. Simply cannot play anymore. On the bright side I got to play against and kill a bungie employee. It took me 5 years to do, but I finally did it. GT is Zombie Divinity and I killed vec4f on containment. Twice. Felt sooooo good.

wow the greatest multiplayer game in Xbox is now over, so sad. I miss this -blam!-en game, brings back memories, and it was the first to start a revolution for all Xbox multiplayer live games. Bungie u guys created one of the best games of the century if not the best, u guys should be proud of yourselves for ur accomplishments. I honestly believe that if there was no modding, fixed the double shot/double beatdown , and no more standby or bridging involved in the multiplayer, then there would be a hell of alot more people on halo2 then the amount there is now. Its sad to say that this chapter of our lives is finally over. I cant wait for reach but bungie please make it more like halo 2 rather then halo 3, what I mean by this is make sure the game speed is like halo2 and not halo 3. Im sorry but halo 3 seemed to be slowed down soo much that it felt like it lost its adrenalin rush. also since it was slowed down, the great players and good players seem to be on the same skill level, it was not like halo 2 where u can tell the difference of skill from a great player to a good player. Halo three did have better updates and features though, like how both beat down register and can kill one another etc. Overall bungie u guys have made a great halo franchise. Halo 1 had the best campaign, halo 2 had the best multiplayer, and halo 3 had the best features. Anyone who still wants to play halo 2 hit up on my gamer tag vashpsb2, ill be down to play halo 2 through xbox connect or some other program similar to it. Just hit me up wit a message, but for now, ima just enjoy halo2 while its still available. Man reminds me of the old days, I got class tomorrow and im still playing this instead of getting my sleep, -blam!- halo 2 is still taking over our lives, just the way we like it, hahahaha.

I would like to make a toast to Bungie and all. This is the first time I'm saddened a service has been shut down. That being said, let me explain. I started playing XBL and this game when I was like 14,15, im now 21! For the entire year the game came out I stayed up every night till 4 am playing solid for days on end. Fast forward to now and we're shutting down by far one of the best online games there is for consoles! Time has flown! This is to all the times we've had, all the people we've met and played with. All the people we teabagged, cursed at for 30 minutes at post game lobby. For all the nerd rage, joy and excitement we got from getting bull-blam!- snipes, getting bull-blam!-ed on. This is to 5+ years of some of truly the best multiplayer experiences I've ever had. Cheers! (lets hope the best for Reach!) [Edited on 04.15.2010 2:18 AM PDT]

I don't even own an xbox 360 anymore because of all the hardware issues I've had with microsoft, but let me tell you this. I LOVE HALO, HALO 2, AND HALO 3, and I made plans to be here at my friends house on this memorable farewell night to our beloved halo 2 online madness. So thank you bungie for all these awesome memories and good times with friends and strangers. I will seriously never forget this game or the first time I logged into xbox live and played halo 2 w/ my good buds. Tonight has been exceptionally great not only due to the flood gate of memories this game unleashes, but mainly because this game is still BADASS!!! Peace, cya in the REACH beta guys!

Im so upset to see it go, Halo 2 was imo the best in the series, so sad i cant could't play today due to my 360 getting repairs and i lost my original xbox long ago RIP Halo 2 Thank you so much bungie for this wonderful game, i will never forget all the joy this game has brought to me, i wish there was some way so see how many hours i put into it, countless. but i thank you.
