I'm trying to not get my hopes up, but this game is looking better and better each time I hear about it. The DMR is like the BR I always wanted (thanks to a certain Halo 2 video), but never got the chance to enjoy. I understand that a lot of things change throughout development, but I hope the DMR (based on what I've seen in the video) never changes. Great job so far!

I have to admit that the vidoc has given me second thoughts regarding Reach. I had over the course of three rather similar games lost interest in the Halo franchise and was pretty certain that I wouldnt buy Reach. However, Reach strikes me as different now so I might just give it a try after all. Also, are other Halo games announced, games made by another developer? Marty's last sentence kind of implies that there are more Halo games in development but that this will be the last "true" Halo. DMR = FAL (yes I really mean the weapon FAL, it's not a typo for FAIL or anything like that) If so, cool. [Edited on 02.12.2010 7:40 AM PST]

Nice, a Halo Reach vidoc. I watched the Vidoc and Reach looks amazing! I'm glad Bungie is finally revamping their engine, the graphics needed to be greater to compete with all the other titles put there and the environments look amazing. I'm also happy to hear about the open end levels, I miss that from Halo 1 (CE). I can't wait until the beta in May!!! Keep on rocking Bungie!! xD [Edited on 02.12.2010 8:57 AM PST]

Wow, now THAT is a good way to start the day. I really was surprised at how much was revealed through that ViDoc (not a complaint by any means), it was fantastic. So out of curiosity: does anyone think that the weapon seen toward the end (possibly a grenade launcher, as mentioned earlier) could be the "mystery weapon sound" from a few updates ago? All in all though, absolutely can't wait to see more, and for the beta. I really want to experience this story... I'm so excited to see such a dramatic, dark story driving the game.

Wow trying to get Reach to be the definitive Halo sounds like it could be hard. But I really like they way that now they are not pinned down by the story of the original 3 that they can get all the best bits from them and compress them into what sounds like is going to be the best game of the year. Roll on May 3rd. :)
