Female Covenant
Before you go "LULZ TARTARUS FEMALE BRUTEZZ LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL" let me bring you to the revelation: Elites are not asecktual (spell it right and see what happens)
In fact, on multiple occasions, i've read about Elites coming home to their wives after a long day at the office...
Do you think we'd see any female Covenant in Reach? Should we? Female grunts? Maybe dabdab or yipyap gets a girlfriend?
The female voices for Elites in Halo 3's multiplayer didn't quite do it....

As neat as it would be to see female covenant, the covenant strike me as a rather patriarchal society that wouldn't let women be in the military. So we probably won't see them.

its the same reason there were no female samurai. it's a class system for the elites. as for the grunts, they are mostly indistinguishable. most drones are female. hunters are 50/50.

I wonder what Elites families are like...[/quote] elite children are sent to training immediate (like a spartan) they never meat there parents but they call there trainers uncles and the females that care for them aunts. they also call the other elites they are trained with cousins. yah for elite families

Now, I'm pretty sure Hunters are asex-ual, considering they're made of thousands of worms... The best bet for female covenant is probably drones, and possibly jackals and skirmishers. EDIT: WTF, sex-ual gets blammed. [Edited on 01.26.2010 1:48 PM PST]

We've already seen female elites, and the description of female jackals closely resembles some jackals in Halo CE

-There are definitely female Elites(Shown in books and "The Duel") Though I'm pretty sure female Elites do NOT fight. -Jackals actually have a Matriarical society. According to Contact Harvest, females are often in command of ships. -Female Brutes were talked about in Evolutions but never seen. -Drones have Queens. I'm not sure about the rest. it's possible that we have already fought female grunts seeing as they are a lower caste in covenant society. Females Elites we know for a fact don't fight, brutes are sketchy but i would say from my current knowledge of brutes they don't fight. Female jackals fight for the same reasons as grunts, i would say the same for the drones to and engineers don't really have genders..
