Would You Like Prison Of Elders to be made a weekend PVE event like trials?

I was brain storming and thought what if bungie took Prison of elders and reinvented it? it would be only open on friday to reset. a normal and hard mode version. the rewards and activities you complete differ. Matchmaking in normal possibly? Hard mode would require a fireteam. new bounties in which are similar in 3 tiers. the last tier guarantees a reinvented queens' armor or weapon at 300-310. hard mode has a greater chance at gear above 310. add more uniqueness to the challenges you must complete. on top of the old kill the target, destroy mines and disarm them there would be each member must defeat say 25 enemies within a time limit, each person is given a target to kill before they reach a destination, one randomly chosen member has to deliver a relic/orb. etc. when you complete them without failure you have a chance of receiving reinvented queens' armory and weapons. the more you wipe, the gear you receive at the queens chest value drops and the quantity drops. if you go ''flawless'' (if you will) you get the absolute best gear from said chest. if you were to keep the key method then maybe you can buy one each week from petra and have a slight chance at receiving them from the prison. thoughts? any additions you guys would change or add?

    • Poe was, is and always will be the worst ( and closest thing to cod zombies) crap ever in destiny. 99% of the people on my friends list refused to play it after they got the grim for skolas. Please don't ruin pve by wasting time on this AIDS game mode

          • Why would we want this? We want PoE to be brought up to Year 2 levels, with weapons and armor rewards to match. We want to do this whenever we want, but we don't have to do it ever. We want CE and VoG to recieve the same treatment. This is simple, and uncomplicated. It increases the content of Destiny dramatically. Why in the freaking world would we want PoE to be a weekend only event? Weekend events are stupid (I'm looking at you Osiris). Some people work more on the weekends than they do during the week. Just bring them up to max level. Problem solved.

          • The PoE doesn't make sense. I agree that an "infinite" horde mode with regular mini bosses would be a great addition to the game however it would need some additions: -Larger individual arenas, more like the size of a PvP map. -Some sense of progression between arenas that works better than the central airlock concept. -Some consistency in design between each arena -a reason why the enemies are fighting. I suggest that the enemy SHIPS are the best way to achieve this. Have a mode called "Boarding Party" or something. Have an opening sequence that shows ships flying in formation and then perhaps have a series of quicktime events for each player to participate in - the result of which determines a breach point on the ship for Ghosts to transmat Guardians to. Once on-board the ship the guardians can start to sweep and clear and get to pick their own route out of a number of possibilities. A mix of pitched battles in large hangers and bays and hard fought leapfrog actions along twisting corridors ensues. Each pathway leads to a "spawn" location. only when a spawn objective is completed does that spawn cease to function - meaning that a route you take can fill up with enemies again behind you if it is still open to a viable spawn, ie you might have to fight your way BOTH ways down a corridor. Once all (maybe 3) spawns are cleared the final route to a boss fight opens up - after which there is a BIG loot drop (as opposed to smaller drops throughout) and the fireteam has the choice to return to the Tower or to continue on to another ship in the enemy fleet - (have a gambling element where previously earnt loot is at stake if they fail the next ship). Each progressive ship contains higher light enemies and a variety of bosses, mini bosses and spawn room objectives, gradually increasing the difficulty. At max light levels the AI "smarts" are gradually turned up. Each flight between ships allows for another quicktime sequence and randomisation of start point in the next ship - there could even be a way of performing this even that allowed for a course change to the fleet of a different species. I think that this would satisfy the desire for replayable PvE. An added factor could be that at a high enough round count 2 or more fireteams get sent to the same "hard mode" ship, but FRIENDLY FIRE is engaged between the two fireteams, allowing for a "darkzone" mechanic and the chance to engage in a little competitive skirmish with the combined loot pool at stake. A competitive skirmish while surrounded with high light, max AI smartness ads.

          • why not have everything available all the time , this game desperately needs content and activities , there's absolutely no reason to withhold the very little available content from players

            • If it did nothing over 310 what would be the point? We have plenty of weapons now that we don't have room for so more weapons we still won't have room for so there is really no point without adding vault space or other options so we can keep stuff to use for infusion at least while we test new stuff to even see if we like it especially since they just announced more content coming and we have no idea what will be coming with it if anything.

            • Its retarded brainstorming that came up with Poe in the first place, so no, sorry but I don't like your idea, and just like every single other mode bungie fails to mimic, it got old after half a run through. I hope that and other "events" like sparrow racing never return

              • Lol PoE was the laziest copy and paste expansion ever in destiny. The least they could have done was make different objectives in each room. I would perfer a hoard mode where you fight wave after wave where it progressively gets harder and harder with more enemies etc.. What i would really like to see is a level so difficult that not even the developers could complete prior to release.

              • Not a bad idea!! PoE could have been great if the rewards were worth it. It was too long of a time span for something so little to hold everybody over, so people got bored. That's why it failed. If it was something like this where every weekend they had something different like the bosses than it would work but again the rewards would need to improve
