I've been banned for something I didn't do

Looking to do trials with a friend. We don't have a 3rd so I go on lfg I get a guy and when we load in he immediately boots the other team offline, I told him that is screwed up and removed him from the fire team. 1 week later I'm banned from trials. Its been about 3 months now and I have no idea how long this restriction is going to last. I need help because I have no idea what to do.

  • So there are Account Restrictions and Bans in Destiny - these are two separate entities. Account Restrictions are temporary, while Bans are permanent. Bungie does not dispute or overturn either of them. You can find all relevant information here Bungie's ban and restrictions policy

    • There are two different punishments in Destiny, Restrictions and Bans. Restrictions are temporary and can last for an undisclosed amount of time. Bans on the other hand are permanent. Both of these cannot be disputed and appealed to Bungie nor will they tell you how long it'll last if it's a restriction. If you have been restricted/banned then the Bungie security team has acquired enough metadata to rightfully convict you.
Q. What behaviors can lead to a ban? •Intentionally deriving gameplay benefit from another user’s behavior in the above categories
More information here: Bungie's Ban and Restriction Policy
