Exotic Sword Quest
This is kinda problematic for people who are primarily PvE players. Being locked out of getting the Exotic Sword because you need to get 25 Sword Kills in what is primarily a Sniper meta. Before anyone comes in here with "Git Gud" or any other such nonsense, I'm going to say this once: I don't like PvP. I have very little interest in PvP. I like Iron Banner Control when it comes around, and I like Inferno Clash. I only really do PvP for the Legendary Marks and a better (and easier) chance at getting an Exotic Engram using 3oC. Hilt Kills are impossible since they're not 2-Hit Kills. They only take away half a shield. The Heavy Ammo announcement pretty much guarantees that you either A - Won't get the Heavy Ammo, B - You'll die as soon as you get it, or C - You'll get killed by a sniper, melee or super. I'd much rather kill 25 Ultras to get the exotic sword than be forced to try getting 25 Sword kills in PvP.

I didn't find it that hard and honestly by your logic making pve requirements is unfair to pvp players. I think the only fair thing with these quests is to have both aspects and challenge players to go outside of their box.

Edited by Sheila: 1/28/2016 3:11:10 AMI'm more PVE type of player. I only did PVP for sword and I did the Rumble. My last matched I killed 22 players without using guns just empty sword. Ask a friend to help you play the rumble match and try to look for each other or just kill random players. You don't need heavy ammo just run around empty sword it will still count.

Edited by Ni Knight: 1/28/2016 1:09:48 AMYou just do it once, for the other 2 swords you begin from the collecting part. I'm a pve player as well and got my kills in an ok time. First I tried Rumble, since hilt kills count too. But that was too slow and I stopped doing with 4 kills only. Then a Control Mayhem happened and in 2 games got the kills. Yeah, it's annoying, but doable. GL man.

If you run around with the hilt in pvp you are guaranteed to get the kills eventually you can't lose ur kills

Just go in to just about any 6vs6 and if you have a mic let the people in your team know what your up to or don't, I hardly ever use my mic. Don't worry about getting kills or trying to win just focus on staying alive and stick with your teammates and help them get kills. n the process of doing that you'll get the opportunity to get the sword kills. If you run around all willy nilly just trying to get the heavy amo all the time you will end up in someone's YouTube channel sniper highlight reel.

If you have a titan along with the twilight garrison, I'd recommend getting acquainted. Easy as hell to get kills when you can dodge and slash. Or play rumble on the legacy playlist.
