Do you? If so, why do you think it is okay to make him it as a scapegoat whenever the company does something you don't agree with? Why should Deej take the blame? Because he is here? He does what he is told it's his job to post what Bungie tells him to. He is the community manager. All of you need to calm down. If you blame Deej for things please go ahead and tell me why? For what reasons? How would you feel in his situation? Do you realize your ignorance in constantly making Deej out to be the bad guy? Answer those questions.
-
Pretty sure his paycheck makes him not give a fuk
-
No as most of the toxic players have shite jobs. They don't even understand what a job could be out side retail or burger flipping.
-
Jack shit
-
"We value your time investment." (Sic) "A ten year relationship would be boring." (Sic) "You're being trolled. Bungie employees are easy to spot in the wild." (Sic) I blame him for these things as those are (for the most part) his words. The bugs and shit are on Luke Smith and whoever else is -blam!-ing with the economies. But the communication lies with Deej. And don't even get me started on Cosmos "promises" to pass on news via the forums instead of twitter. (Yeah buddy 3x that's happened after a promise was made)
-
spewing the bullshit the higher-ups tell him to?
-
Deej, we told you to stop posting under your alts. Taking the blame is part of th job. ---- Bungie Team
-
This. People are literally shooting the messanger when it comes to Weekly Updates and how broken Destiny is.
-
Makes a ton of money off of a fan base that complains constantly, but won't actually stop playing the game.
-
He is our source of communication, that doesn't communicate with us. THAT is the problem here.
-
What you fail to realize is that as the community manager, he is kind of like the face of the company to us, the community. Being hated on comes with the job, and he can't handle the job, hence why they made a second community manager with Cozmo. An even bigger problem with Deej, is that he prefers to use Twitter over his own companies forum. Why should I have to resort to Twitter about information about the game? Instagram? That's just Twitter for people that can't read. The point is, he doesn't react with the community. He puts a fluff piece up each week, makes a few tweets, and goes to game expos and doesn't say shit about the game. He knew he would get hated on when he took the job.
-
There are only 2 things that matter in the world of busines. Legality and liability Can I do this and if it fails who is to blame.
-
Deej is our only person we really can blame, that's his job. Anybody with his job would also be blamed, it's nothing personal against him.
-
Deej is a scapegoat. Notice Cozmo produces witty replies and seems like an ok guy with regular contact Deej seems like a dick with his thumb up his ass delivering all the shit updates. Cozmo and Deej = good cop and bad cop
-
Does he actually know what he is supposed to do is more like the question that should be asked. I'm sure he thinks he is some kind of chat show host. . Only time you really hear from him with anything relevant is when he is bouncing around on Bungie tv. . . There's definitely a broad gap between what he thinks his job role is and what the community thinks it is. .
-
He's a community relations manager
-
"Because he's here" Lmao no he's not, he's off sucking his thumb in the break room along with everyone else at bungie. He rarely ever interacts with the community on Twitter or on here.
-
He's a spokesperson. He doesn't actually do anything.
-
Well he was hired exactly for that. Get the praises when it's going good and get crushed when it's going bad. It's not about blaming him as a person, but he is the mean we have to communicate with bungie.
-
At least he's getting paid handsomely to be slagged off,you lot slag each other off for free, : )
-
This is what I think of every time i see Deej talking in a video :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdf-jKsKA9k
-
He is just PR. He relates what Bungie wants him to say about their game in a way that makes sense to the general populace of the game. If anything the heat should be directed at the sandbox, weapons, and world developers, not Deej or Cozmo, they're chill.
-
Yep, posts crap once a week, ignores the player base and cashes his paycheck while laughing at us!!!!
-
Simple, he represents Bungie and people are mad at Bungie... Its not personal I think/ hope... By the way I am not mad at them, its just a game and I just dont play Destiny as much anymore....enough other games...
-
The company scapegoat?
-
You're right we can't blame deej. Blame Bungie for hiring him lol
-
Deej is life
