Leveling Light
I am a level 40 Titan with 227 light. I can now run all the Vanguards, but what is the best way to level up my light to 300 so i can do the new raid. I dont have any exotics nor full set of purples...

Court of Oryx (tiers 2 and 3) and Heroic Strikes / Nightfalls are your best bets.

Your best bet is the heroic strike playlist. Keep running them without going to Orbit and after around 3 or so the drops should start to be at higher light levels. Pop 3 of coins and hope for an exotic.

Me personally kept doing strikes none stop and got to 300 light without ever raiding ( is not easy to do) either crucible (iron banner,trials) or do strikes and second you hit 280 light do the raid. If your on xbox 1 hit me up (TKG BLACKHAWK) I have a 319, 313,and a 317 I'll help you out.
