If you got to create a sword in destiny
If you got to create your own sword or(melee weapon), how would you have it made?
It can be any parks and special attack for the weapon. Is there another weapon that you could see being implemented?
Edit:What races/factions would give you the weapon? Example: fallin, vex etc. Or fwc, dead orbit, new monarchy.
Edit:How can we get bungie to read this post.
If you want at least one of these ideas implemented we gotta get bungie to notice us.
We need more people to want this to happen.

What do you guys/girls think I should do? 1Start another post coming up with weapons other than melee.
2keep the melee weapons going and add different types here. And add another hash tag stating other weapons
Or 3 forget about it and include melee weapons only.

R1: light attack R2: slam the ground to set down a blight. Does damage to those inside (about the size as the blights in the oryx fight) lasts as long as a trip mine. Eats 7 ammo per use. Appearance: looks like the sword oryx uses in the regicide mission. About the size of the Crotas end relics, maybe a little bigger. Oozes taken energy.

Arc is called Arc wall. It allows u create an arc ward of dawn. Void is called the devourer. A double kill fully refills your super energy bar.

The blade has large buzz saw like teeth, but only 3, each spanning 1/3rd of the blade and they would be straight, not round like a buzz saw. The special attack would have a 2 fold style you can pick from. One choice being single target focused and one being AOE. The aoe would be a large slow 360 degree ground wave that passes through targets. The single target would be 3 high velocity slashes in quick succession.

2 RepliesMy sword would have like a necrochasm lime way of getting it. Start by killing a rare hive Knight, and looting a broken sword hilt, where you notice it is an old guardian sword hilt. Bring it back to shaxx, and he will do some research on it, ( wait untill weekly reset ) and he will tell you that this was once the fabled sword Truth Seeker ( also called Damaris, Sword of Truth ), carried by Ourous ( leader of the sunbreakers ), before she gave it to a unknown guardian who saved her from a huge fallen ketch. You then go and track down Ourous and try to return her blade. She turns it down saying that it has bonded with you, and would be stronger with you than it could ever be with her. She then aids you in reforging the blade. Upon reaching the last step in the quest, you have to choose a fusion core for the blade, and you have 5 to choose from. Solar, void, arc, light, and dark. They all have the normal perks for a sword (die,live,thrive by the sword) untill you get to the final node. Then you get to choose between the elements ( the first one you choose is the strongest ). The special attack ( Peace of Light ) for each element is to make an aura of pacifism. No attacks can enter the aura and you or your enemies cannot attack in the aura. It lasts for 10 seconds and when you enter it, in the little chat box it says " a calming peace washes over you... " and buffs/debuffs you with " Peace of Light ". Also it has a secret perk where all invisible enemies are visible when the sword is being held. It would look like a large claymore, with the symbol of the hammer of Sol on the bottom of the blade ( right before the hilt ) because it was Ourous's blade. Whatever element you currently are using is what the blade will softly glow, untill when you attack where that glow will turn into a much harder version of the glow, and the actual element emerges from the sword. When you activate Peace of Light, your guardian takes 3 seconds and holds the sword in both hands point down, and slams it point first into the ground. Tell me what you think? [u]Base Perks[/u] [i]Basic Strike:[/i] A simple, quick strike in the direction your character is facing. [i]Scythe Swirl:[/i] Replaces the Guard ability on a typical sword with a swirling AOE attack (ie Dark Drinker). [u][b]Exotic Perk[/b][/u] [i]Resonance:[/i] Unleashes a massive AOE wave of damage around the user. AOE attack has 3x more of a radius than the standard Scythe Swirl. However, the amount of damage it does directly correlates with how low your health is (less health = more damage). Also, once this wave attack is generated, the scythe gains blades on both sides of the staff and attacks do 2x more damage. This stage of the scythe directly correlates with your Super bar (more Super = longer duration) and also uses up your Super.

High range low speed high impact and charge Appearence: painted green iron great sword With The iron banner tree design in both sides, the handle has a wolf on it Burn:kinetic Exotic perk lords of iron: multi kills with this weapon increase armor and recovery but decrease agility for 20 seconds, can stake 3 times Instead of blocking this sword has a charging animation that allows one to move very quickly in a straight line, the front side is immune to all damage but the top left right back and bottom are all viable targets to hit the charge stops when a object is hit The health and recovery buffs are powerful but the speed debuff for anything past one multi kill is essentially like going through the abyss and getting x8 or so weight of darkness. Obtained through obtaining a quest after 5 games in of being rank 5 iron banner Quest order Talk to Saladin Get multi kills Talk to Saladin Get sword kills Talk to Saladin Get 50 hadium flakes talk to Saladin Get 50 ability kills and collect 50 spin metal Get 1st and win game of iron banner control/clash or get 1st and win 3 games of control or clash Obtain Sladin's oath from Lord Saladin.
