My thoughts on some changes to PvE and PvP content (criticism welcome)

Since year 2 began, I have been keeping an open mind on the content at hand. Some I agree with, some I don't. I do have some ideas that I think would be beneficial to everyone (at least, I think they would be). PvE: Year 1 Raids - I'm no stranger to gear progression in RPGs. I'm also no stranger to expansions. I know that new content, means older content (in this case, raids, PoE) gets left behind. This is common when it comes to Mmorpg's (don't even start with the "but destiny isn't an MMO", because that's not the point), usually due to an increase in max level. While it seems that a number of people in the community are upset by this, others (myself included) are not. But I think I have a manageable solution (providing I don't get annihilated by the community). I propose to leave the original raids right where they are, but add new, reworked raids to the table. A new Vault of Glass, Crota's End, and Prison of Elders with more expansive, new areas, new bosses, and new raid gear to collect, that would be on par with the Kings Fall raid. Possibly something that could change with the updates, expansions and DLC's. For instance, since we are in "The Taken King", give each one of them a taken style theme, but keeping the raid gear with similar style to the original raid (to be honest, I'm not much of a fan of any of the Kings Fall raid weapons, but they fit the atmosphere of the raid). PvP: I can't say that I'm an avid crucible player. I do like to jump into a few games of clash, rift or skirmish when I don't have anything going on, or I'm short on time. However, I do enjoy Trials of Osiris. I am not a particular fan of the matchmaking system though. I don't see it being "fair" for a team, who has already been to the Lighthouse 3 times that particular weekend, to be matched up against a team who is still trying to get there for their first time. I understand some of the "hardcore" PvP fans do it for the fun, and competition, but it becomes a burden, and a massive deterrent to those who struggle to find teams, or for teams who are continuously knocked out by "pros". I propose that, one a character has been to the lighthouse that weekend (or completed a flawless passage), that character, and anyone in their fireteam, are out into a separate matching system, only to face teams where, someone, or the entire fireteam, have already been flawless that weekend. This would be beneficial for everyone, and those who continue to play Trials for the competition would only be put up against those looking for the same, and those trying to complete their passages wouldn't have to worry about getting absolutely annihilated by a team of 2 people, and the 1 person they are carrying. These are just some of my thoughts. If anyone has any other ideas on the subjects, or criticism, please feel free to add, or if you want to discuss any bits of it. Let me know what you think.
