Just give the handcannons a bit more ammo in PVE. It won't affect PVP at all., I don't believe I have ever seen a complaint on here about it being unfair in PVE about the hand cannons having too much ammo.. Even with armor that has the extra hand cannon perk, primary ammo is just way too scarce.

Reserve ammo in primaries was never an issue in PVP anyway. Hand cannons need a reserve buff across the board.

to a degree most of these people are right.... unless we're talking about gjallarhorn ammo or something "OP" like that... FOR THE MOST PART, increasing ammo carrying capacity won't unbalance the game, yes, running low or even "out" of ammo can be challenging and stressful, but with certain weapons this would emphasize players to slow down just a little bit to aim and make sure they land their shots. you can't just have everybody firing their guns wildly in the air ya know? BUT at the same time it doesn't give any advantage... after so many bullets it stops making a difference.... honestly how many bullets can you shoot before you die and get re-spawned? 15? 50? certainly when it comes to bullet-hose auto rifles when you get to numbers like 500 bullets you're not feasibly going to shoot that much ammo before you get re-spawned. in PvE being able to hold 500 bullets is an advantage, you can bunker down and let off a flurry of lead if you get backed into a corner... cool. but in the PvP world this makes little difference. "Say No To Rage" YouTube it. =O

Or just remove the cancer from the game, pvp.

I love hand cannons, but run out of ammo all the time - and then I'll go two sections in a strike and never see a white brick. My clan mates laugh because I spend more time punching or swinging a sword than shooting my primary because of stupid ammo. It's dumb to have a shooter game with no ammo...

One can never have too much ammo guardian.. never...

Edited by Altoryu: 11/24/2015 4:34:46 PMLeast two or three more rounds worth at least.
-
Need some.My Iron Banner hand cannon only holds 40-51 max.

HC's need an across the board reserve ammo increase. Quite a substantial one at that. And it certainly wouldn't hurt crucible at all. It's not like spray & pray works with hand cannons anywhere lol (outside of TLW, but even on TLW an increased reserve capacity wouldn't hurt).

So far handcannons limmited ammo is one of my main reasons not to use then (I'm also sorta lazy and spazzy when shooting with limited ammo). Yay auto rifles!
-
i agree this wouldn't change the meta in PvP. giving hand cannon users more primary ammo would only benefit those who can stay alive long enough to actually SHOOT all their ammo... which, if they ARE able to stay alive for that long then they DESERVE some extra ammo but when i play PvE using my new iron banner hand cannon i run out of ammo quite often... all the time... i find myself scavenging for little packs of white ammo. simply put its no fun having to struggle with primary ammo.... bump.

+1. Even like 10-15 rounds added to max amount would make it fine.
-
It makes guns like NTTE and Bad JuJu that very rarely have to reload, that much better than other options. Hunters get a big middle finger with thier Ace of Spades, precision hits pull a bullet from reserves. What? Wait... i have like 70 rounds and NTTE has over 550... but they get free ammo and I get to run out just as fast as usual? Dafuq?
-
I've been saying that since ttk came out. And did you read the update? Nothing, bc it's THEIR game and we just play it.
-
HC's in year one were crazy, ever been one shot by Hawkmoon from sniper range? I was, but I didn't get it until year two. Two shot by Thorn? I was often. Destroyed by TLW all over? I was. It was crazy, I wanted a range nerf but nothing else.
-
I recently got an Eyasluna with decent rolls. When I tried it, I noticed that most of my HCs only hold 66 rounds! And it even looks like ammo drops are actually harder to get!

Bump. It's frustrating and why I don't use hand cannons often in the wild.
