Heavy Ammo Gentleman's Agreement
Just wanting to see if anyone here has run into a team in 3v3 or elimination and have "Agreed" to not utilize heavy ammo?
For those not aware it is as follows
*Heavy ammo inbound
Enemy fireteam member waves
Friendly fireteam member waves
That's it!
You both have just agreed to not use heavy ammo, don't pick it up just leave it there for the match.
Next time your in crucible and someone waves at you before heavy it might not be just a hello in fact it might be a gentleman's agreement which you don't have to agree to and can just not reciprocate the wave and go about the match normally.
EDIT 1: Not calling for a complete aversion of heavy ammo but once every few matched it'd be nice to not worry about rockets or machine guns.
EDIT 2: Figured I should've put this in the beginning but Nkuch made a video on this yesterday, where I decided to make this topic.

Every time I FINALLY get matched against people who wave back on heavy round, they grab it anyway and and we still shit on them. Morons.

1 ReplyCool idea in concept, but how well does it work in reality? I see it going as well as Dark Souls duels. Sure you can bow and they might bow back to show neither will heal, or they'll backstab you mid animation.

I love the idea!!! I have gone flawless both weeks now and my strat on heavy round is kill the enemy before it drops. It is a no skill horse shoes and hand grenades round. I have won alot of matches 5-1 because of heavy round. I will try this next week. However the plan will still be win in 15 seconds.

I did it in trials a few times. First I was surprised it worked. We still lost because I suck at trials. But I just don't really feel like being wasted im ten seconds by heavy

If this is how you want PvP to work, you need to join one of the sweaty tryhard clans out there. They do this in their matches. They also have restrictions on supers and exotics.
