Why does the one item that distinguishes you from all other classes have to be tied to light level? It would be better if we had the freedom to wear any class item without it affecting light, if only for the sake of customisation. Inb4 people yell "b but Muh infusionnnn!" Don't be silly, infusing multiple items of a higher level just to get one item to the same level, for the sake of looks[b][/b], is not feasible when you need to keep light high as possible for damage sake.
