I've noticed a bit of a trend in the forums where people are claiming that in year one, bladedancers reigned supreme.
I couldn't disagree more. I, personally have been hardly ever killed by arc blade and the super is so easy to counter. 9/10 times, by simply using Shotgun Melee, the arc blader will die. If you can't kill and arc blader at this point, you really need to improve upon your timing so you know when to shoot him.
I understand for Titans it is quite hard with the T-Rex arms, but with melting point you can often trade with him and burn him to death.
It's the same with Stormtrance. The only time I have been killed by Stormtrance is when the Lightning has chained through teammates. Other than that, I hardly ever lose 1v1s against Stormtrance. A slide-shotgun Melee takes <1 second to perform and consistently kill (in all the times I have done this, it has had about an 80% success rate), whereas it takes Stormtrance >2 seconds to kill.
I do personally believe that neither of these supers are overpowered and are the 2 easiest supers to kill (IMO). Not being able to kill these supers seems to be an issue with personal skill rather than the actual super it self.

Because stormtrance beats hammer of sol, duh
-
Because a good storm caller can kill a hammer of sol Titan using his Stormtrance.

Where's the fusion rifle strats, everyone always talks about shotgun melee. Bweep Bweep.

Man, don't you hate it when you're trying to avoid a stormtrance then a teammate runs in and chains lightning to you?
-
Arc blade will survive shotgun melee because every body uses razors edge
