This post is not intended to propose a change to the voidwall's damage output (that is another topic for another time). With that being said, I believe that the voidwall grenade needs a cosmetic overhaul. Damage over time grenades in destiny have different shapes and this can determine which grenade would be most effective in an encounter, however, the current void wall grenade is lack luster and has limited purpose. I see potential for the voidwall grenade and feel it need a defining role other than simply "differently shaped damage over time grenade". The animation is subtle which may be preffered by some however, a taller void wall with more dense effects (impeding vision) can set the void wall grenade apart.
