Thought this would be a good debate, please comment.

I found it semi difficult the first time around 290 light, but once people got a bit more geared it became fairly simple. Easiest strategy for boss room I've found is to just nuke the boss with supers and swords quickly. Then handle all the blights. Should leave plenty of time for your team to clear the adds.
-
Yes. A group of 290ish beat it on second try, full team died multiple times. We still had 20-30sec to spare, which turned into a dance party. I wouldn't say people that don't get it are bad, they just have to work as a team and sweep the final room. Also, exotic swords make it much easier I have heard. I went into it with raze lighter and took care of yellow bars
-
I'm a 305 light with full raid armor on my hunter and I haven't beaten it does that make me bad?
-
If all three have an exotic sword. It's pretty much like putting on easy mode.
-
It's super tough, but requires a team effort. I wouldn't say they suck at destiny, they either don't have a good team or suck at being in a team..
-
How can anyone be bad at PvE? The enemies don't change behavior. It's just having good weapons and knowing where stuff spawns or what to take out first.
-
Why would it be a good debate? Good debates change things and get results.
-
Not a debate at all. The answer is yes
-
Spindle is easy to get if you have 2equipped with exotic swords and communication as always is key factor
-
The mission is not impossible. yes it's hard, but that's the way some exotics should be earned.
-
Maybe the Mission is just tough? I mean....define bad at Destiny?
-
Just lack of communication and tactics. Just clear the adds and it's easy af.
-
Offensive is the best way I've found to go about this mission. Chaining supers and destroying ads was our strategy the time we beat it. Two superbreakers and an arc warlock. Used supers to destroy ads and create plenty of orbs so everyone could get their supers back. Focused snipers on boss. Repeat when more ads popped up. Beat it in three cycles of this. Finished with around a minute to spare.
-
Not gonna come on here as a hard ***. To this date, this is still the hardest fight I encountered on Destiny
-
We couldn't do it last time because of lag. I've beaten it but I was helping my friend who is actually really good at PvE
-
No they're just bad at coordinating
-
Noway.. Sooo many adds to control and orbs to kill.not to mention that boss you need to focus as well. That was so tough, took a few tries. I thought it was hard.
-
Gear and tactics make a huge difference, first time I beat it, we killed the last little add with 3 seconds left. The most recent time beating it, we put a bubble right on boss and triple awarded him and had 5:45 left to clear room. Warlock storm super and hunter tethers cleared it with 4 min to spare.
-
I've never even tried it, I feel like black spindle isn't something I really need right now.

Edited by DeusFever: 10/20/2015 4:54:08 PMI know plenty of above average players who have difficulty with the Black Spindle mission. Weapons also matter. Good players with bad load outs are going to have a bad time with this mission. The better question is whether content should be gated based on player skill.
I think all content should be available for anyone who plays the game. Destiny is not a test, it's a video game!
Is it on today?
-
You can't be bad at pve, there's no skill involved.
-
I would say it's very likely
-
-
No it only requires teamwork and good gear.
-
Considering me and my friend two manned it.
