Farming up a bunch of strikes / court of oryx for engrams, when you open the engrams..as tempting as it is..don't spam X or A or whatever on all of the engrams at once. An engram opened has a light level + or - your current light level gear (up to 300) They aren't pre-determined once you pick them up. Open them one by one and check to see if it'll raise your light level [b]Example:[/b] [u][/u] Open 15 engrams as a light level 250, and get all 15 items within a certain + or - range of a 250. [i]versus[/i] Open 15 engrams one by one, and slowly increase light level maybe up to 253 - 255ish and by the time you get to the last few engrams, the + or - range will be increased
