Ever found a chest hidden inside a tunnel aboard the Dreadnaught? Ever tried to figure out why the chest did not require a key but took nearly 20 seconds to open? Ever wonder how to pass this obstacle? Look no further! I too have wondered the puzzle of this tricky chest puzzle and it literally just hit me on patrol! The chest is located near one of the three slanted pillars where you shut down the weapon of the Dreadnaught, inside a Thrall tunnel. Unfortunately, the chest is blanketed by Darkness that drains your health to death. Here is the key: Often, there will be a group of Taken that surround the weapon pillars during some sort of "praying ritual". All that you must do is clear the three locations when the Taken appear. On the last clearing, the Darkness will summon a "relic orb" in the middle of the pillar. Once you obtain it, you will be given 1:30 seconds of a power called "Interpoler" which gives you the immunity to become invincible against the chest's deathly Darkness. The chest may obtain some of the following: Legendary Engram Calcified Fragment Reciprocal Rune Hadium Filaments Wormspore I hope this may help answer those that were lost as I too figured this out of sheer luck.
