Possible hidden exotic in The Promethean Code?
I discovered this while leveling my titan and I want to see if anyone else noticed.
Playing through the TTK story missions a second time, I played Lost To Light again on my titan to progress the story. Just out of curiosity I went up the door that opens to the Black Spindle event, and I saw your ghost can scan it and he says something along the lines of "we just missed them". Implying that it would open, as it already has during the daily.
Fast forward a bit and I get to The Promethean Code mission. I came to the first area where taken spawn within Rasputin's bunker. To the left of the area are stairs that lead to the room where we fought Omnigul in TDB. I found out your ghost can scan the left door that leads to the area. Your ghost mentions something about the codes given to us by Cayde not working on it. Cayde mentions there's bad memories in that room.
Could this room open up when Promethean Code is the daily? Would Cayde's code work on it then? Would it lead to another exotic like the Black Spindle? What do you guys think?
Edit: While yes it's true that not EVERYTHING will lead to some sort of hidden exotic, isn't it fun to speculate?
Edit2: Door is related to Sleeper Simulant quest, good job everyone, we can all go home now!

Edited by MadBishopBear: 10/20/2015 3:03:49 AMHi guardians I don't know if it's something already known, but today while doing the daily, in the room where there is like a fallen piece of the ceiling that you can scan, the piece got something like diamond shaped boxes, 3 on each side, and each box have room for 4 black cubes. The cubes on each box where different in each one. If the box is: 1 2 3 4 On one side First: 1,3 and 4 Second: 1 Third: 1,2,3 and 4 And on the other First: 2,3 and 4 Second: 1,2 and 3 Third: 1,2,3 and 4 I know it will probably be nothing, but it seems a little arbitrary for me. If anybody smarter than me got any idea about it please post it. Thx Also BTW, I'm really sorry about my English. It isn't my first language.

This is all Time gate. You have to wait for Bungie to press the switch. Awesome we'll get real puzzles to find weapons but all that is coming with Destiny 2.

You're likely overthinking it, it's just a nod to when we once fought omnigul, like how we could scan the broken Sepiks Prime in the second mission.

2 RepliesWell we all have Sleeper Simulant now so we know it's not affiliated with it.... So your question is still valid I would say. People will dispute me but I say to them, where were the yellow pillars in "The First Firewall" mission? Yeah non existent, so what is up with them and in the room below....?

This has to he something. I also noticed the one for the black spindle before that mission became a thing and it seems like the most definite indicator.

I have a theory sort of like this I haven't tested it though in the level where you have to go back into vog and kill the hydra well maybe if you go on kabrs path (where you jump under the plantform where the first chest is) if that does anything when it's daily heroic

Possibly a piece for Sleeper Stimulant quest that we are missing. Not the whole gun, but a part that starts the quest.

11 Replies[b][u]BREAKING NEWS[/u][/b] Ok so my friend and I were looking around on the daily heroic and we went to the grottos and noticed all the levels where 41 so we thought that was weird because the are usually level 18 so we went through the cave and into the house of Devils lair and found out all the levels where 41 also so we proceeded into the area where you fight the devil walker and low and behold its there and all the ads around it are 41 so we killed the Devils walker and nothing happened but why would the people be level 41 so our theory is that we need to open up the door behind him and kill something where sepiks prime is and go up to Cayde's secret stash where you then fight another boss and then you get your exotic. The reason we think that is where it is, because cayde said that leave anything else for him which means there was something else besides the stealth drive. [b][u]so get out there and find it guardians[/u][/b]

3 RepliesGuys guys! I just ran the daily and when the countdown for orbit started I started to walk back. But as I started to leave the second to final room the counter died, but something started to hurt me! Go back guardians! Don't take the stealth codes! Run out and see what's up!
