• Hey there, As a general rule, players will only be able to access the content that they own the license for. Features like “Gameshare” are not supported by Bungie. This is subject to Platform policy. Here are some helpful links to learn about how content is shared across the different platforms on which you can play Destiny. • I cant understand why you people are still throwing money at these greedy bastards bungie and activision. Loads of us got rid of this game ages ago after they locked us out the multiplayer rooms and other base game content cos we didnt buy their dlc. Now i see their still screwing yous over. The simple solution to these scumbags is boycott their games. I dont buy anything with the name bungie or activision on it and never will again. Dont moan while throwing money at them. Theres been enough said for the last 2 years on these bastards and still you all persist on throwing money at them. Dont be held to randsom, just play other games.

I found the solution. Sorry for my English, login on the account that doesn't have access to the game, start destiny, get to orbit. Without logging out of the first account , open the account that have the lisence. You will notice that destiny still runnin under the other account name. Press to resume the game, now press the TTK icon it will say you need to purchase (press purchase) it will say you already purchased and will ask you if you wanna install it press install. That's it log out of the second account. I can't believe I figured this out . My gamertag is librichi1, message me if u need help This is for Xbox one, try it on 360 and let me know

        • This is total bullshit. I bought a second console to play at the lake. I own the game I own the console, but I cannot play the game on the console!? -blam!- that! Anyone know if you can get a refund for TTK if you have been playing it for months before finding out you didn't get what you thought you paid for? Ridiculous. Back in the day of physical discs/casettes this never would have been an issue. Now that it's digital they can extort you for multiple copies of something you already own.

          • So, around October of 2015 I purchased my copy of Destiny: TTK - Legendary edition for PS3. Fell in love with Destiny and never put it down, until I got a PS4 for Christmas so about a month ago I buy Destiny again for the PS4. Only to find out I can't play any of the DLCs I'VE ALREADY PURCHASED. Like, what? Can someone please help me figure this out? I've restored liscenses and deleted any and all related items pertaining to Destiny and it just seems to show the same result.

            • So, for anybody experiencing this problem on Xbox one, all you have to do is sign in with the account that can't access the taken king. Then scroll left to settings>personalization>my home Xbox. Type in your password, and you're good.

              • this is OUTRAGEOUS BUNGIE.. Really? You should be ashamed. You really think the fans will stick around for ten years if you exploit them at every opportunity? Of all the things - this feature must add marginal revenue but creates negativity no amount of money can clean. My girlfriend likes to play now and again.. and now she cannot - the DLC worked on the Home Xbox before but since i upgraded to the elite console its been disabled! Destiny at home is always a bit tough on family - but getting them involved was my way of keeping peace and playing together.. now she can't play it will be needless headache for me. Seriously? how many extra licenses do you really get while alienating your fan-base? Really? You should fire the individual that signed off on this short-term policy. You need to thing about the long game and the money you make there. this makes no corporate sense - loyalty pays much more! time to give Halo 5 a go... its not as good i'm sure but at least Microsoft have finally learnt customer service and put them first.

                    • I recently bought the digital version of the king taken(I have , destiny and DLC 1 , And DLC 2), but to my surprise it only works in the profile where I made the purchase and does not work in others of the same console . My doubt is that other member has not yet completed other DLCs but when I bought the other DLCs this problem did not occur. The profiles are the same console, I believe that all the same console profiles should have access.O game shows me that I need to get the latest DLC, but I've got.

Recently, after the 2.0.0.4 hotfix, I was required to accept the Destiny license agreement in-game. Did anyone else have to do this? The license agreement was dated August 14, 2014. It felt odd to be prompted to accept the agreement that hasn't been updated for over a year. Especially, after recent heated discussion regarding Xbox 360 owners not being able to access The Taken King on other accounts on the same console. A few smart folks shared a workaround of signing-in with the primary account, then signing-in and launching Destiny with the second account. This worked out nicely. Question: Does this workaround violate Step 5) under License Conditions of Bungie's Destiny license agreement which states: This license is subject to the following limitations ("License Limitations"). Any use of the Program in violation of the License Limitations will result in an immediate termination of your license, and continued use of the Program will be an infringement of Bungie’s copyrights in and to the Program. You agree that you will not do, or allow, any of the following: ... (5) use the Program in a network, multi-user arrangement, or remote access arrangement, including any online use except as included in the Program functionality; ...with emphasis on the multi-user part? Coming from a fan from the absolute beginning (Marathon, Myth, Oni) and a 8 year member here.... This is absolutely heartbreaking, Bungie. I don't know if it's Activision but you aren't the Bungie I know and loved, growing up anymore. I hardly recognize you anymore. There's absolutely no way this wasn't intentional. It's obvious that this step is made when "Verifying content" upon logging on to the servers. You created your own "Anti-Gamesharing" loophole that is specifically made to go against the console. The most popular console MMO to date, I suppose the greed was going to settle in sooner or later (with the guise of anti-leechers of course). I too have run into the problem, not once. But twice today. I purchased it on Xbox ONE for myself, and on 360 for my roommate's 360 as well. To not only find out that it can't be played on the installed console regardless of the gamertag, but also cannot access said DLC purchased on Xbox ONE or 360, logging on back and forth. I could with the previous two expansions. This is extremely misleading, and downright against the console's terms of service. If you wanted your own control over "Gamesharing" then you should've released it on PC exclusively! Had I known this ahead of time, I surely would have never purchased it. I am not buying this game 4 times over just for two people to be able to play with their friends on Xbox ONE/360 respectively. So.... Money > Loyalty Or, do we now feel our bottomline/numbers shall be appreciated more than the fan's wallet. Eh, Bungie?

                        • This is an easy fix and solves the one account access limitation for the taken king dlc. Watch this YouTube video if other accounts on your console cannot access the dlc. This explains how to unlock full access for all users.

                            • I posted on Twitter @Deej_BNG "On behalf of loyal destiny players, I want answers. Why can't I play TTK on a different profile, same console?" And now I wait for answers. I agree with everyone who thinks tweeting bungie for answers is a good idea. The general gaming community all has the same general out cry. I bought the dark below and house of wolves with my hard earned money, and even bought TTK just yesterday. My husband and I were so excited to play it that we fought over who played first lol. I signed into his profile to try and see if he had the Arsenal pack, since everyone I talked to said all that content would be available to other profiles on one console. Well, when I signed into his character it said "requires taken king". This is bogus and completely uncalled for. Bungie makes enough money off of its players because it makes appealing enough content that makes us want it. Now, as much as he desperately wants to play it, neither of us has the $40 to buy another copy. Quite frankly neither of us feel we need to. $60 for extra content I'd great and all but him and I aren't the type of people that want everything the game gives. Sure it would be nice but we don't care for that. A simple stand alone copy is just fine for us. Anyway, I am the only one able to play and he can't. I bought the digital copy and will be seeking a refund if this isn't fixed. I kind of want to think of bungie and not being selfish and greedy, but that's all the evidence seems to lead to. If xbox says that all content could be shared between profiles on a single console, then that should be the end of it. I honestly and personally feel that bungie should abide by xbox rules and policy. Doesn't matter if bungie has its own rules, I feel that they should follow the company whose servers and services they wish to use. I feel like a bull and bungie is the matador just waving that red cloth in my face. It's annoying and demeaning. Please fix this bungie or i, like many others will be looking for a refund. **end rant**

                              • Found out that the Gamesharing rules & regulations are different on XBOX360. Bungie is not legally bound to game share across multiple acounts, so they haven't... They have just decided to say nothing! Even though the Microsoft Usage Restrictions on 360 states "The item you are trying to download is subject to usage restrictions. You can use this item on the first xbox 360 console you downloaded it to. Access to this item will also be granted to all users on this first console." The only thing you can do is ask for a refund from Microsoft
