    • They don't have any integrity toward one of the founding members of the company. So it should come as no surprise when they blatantly lie and cheat us the community and players of Destiny. They have lost all integrity with me, and have officially become an evil corporation blinded by greed. Let me tell you I have worked for these big corporations and they will not think twice about ruining one mans life who has dedicated countless hours and years to the success of the company if they believe it will put more money in their pockets. It is the epitome of what is wrong with this corporate world we live in today . The super rich get richer from their employees then cast them aside when they are no longer needed. Don't forget where you came from Bungie we the players are what made you and we can take you down just as easy. Social media has toppled nations don't make the mistake of thinking your immune.

      • And let's not forget the dbag who heads up this monstrosity called Activision, Bobby Kotick. He's smartly been out of the public eye the last few years after he caught so much hate for saying memorable lines like these: "We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games." "I think we definitely have been able to instill the culture, the skepticism and pessimism and fear that you should have in an economy like we are in today. And so, while generally people talk about the recession, we are pretty good at keeping people focused on the deep depression." "really rewards profit and nothing else." (Concerning Kotick's incentive program for Activision employees) "And Tony, you know if it was left to me, I would raise the prices even further." "With respect to the franchises that don't have the potential to be exploited every year across every platform with clear sequel potential that can meet our objectives of over time becoming $100 million plus franchises, that's a strategy that has worked very well for us." "And again, our strategy, narrow and deep, focus on properties that will sell to a very broad consumer base on the console -- those are strategies that seem to work well." -Bobby Kotick

                • Currently, people can preorder Destiny plus all three expansions for $60 USD, which is approximately the price most payed for just Destiny nearly a year ago. Since then, veteran (day-one) players have poured out another 40 dollars for both the Dark Below and House of Wolves. With the Taken King added in, this will amount to a whopping $140 for all three expansions, plus the game. On the other hand, newer players get all of this (and more) for nearly half the price.  This is an injustice on behalf of the veteran players. In response to our loyalty, we get a sparrow, a shader, and an emblem, while these new players get 3 free Exotics (with special XP-boosting perks), 3 Shaders, and 3 new emotes. This is hardly fair to the veteran players, who have paid more for this game than any new player has or ever will. This petition is designed to let Bungie and Activision know that we will not stand for this, and that we want what we deserve.    We are asking that veteran players (it should be easy to discern older players from the newer ones) receive the same perks that the Collector's Edition purchasers are receiving (the free Exotics, sparrow, shaders, and emblem), due to the fact that we have already paid more than enough for it. For this to work, Bungie would need to introduce a Digital Collector's Edition featuring solely The Taken King.  Thanks for the support. Don't forget to share! https://www.change.org/p/bungie-activision-give-year-1-players-the-same-perks?recruiter=377847320&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink

                • Activision stepped over bounds and basically told him to **** himself, they had their own plans. Marty came back and said **** activision by acting out of character and being a pest. BUNGIE was afraid that Marty's retaliation would strain their ties with their contract with activision so they decided to fire him. When they fired him they tried to pull a dirty trick by stripping him of any of his rights as a founder as well as his own personal stock in the company. I can't believe they thought they'd win that fight if Marty decided to sue tbh, it was clearly just wrong of them, like trying to kick him when he was down kinda. The judge saw this as clearly as its represented and ruled in favor of Marty as they should have. Simply put, it was a case of employee disgruntled by his higher ups stepping into his specialized domain and limiting his ability to make money. His higher ups wanted to use HIS work to make money but tried to deny his right to make his own money from his own work. Anyone would be pissed in this situation. I completely agree with his actions, however if he wasn't a founder and was a typical employee he wouldn't have been so lucky.

                  • This is just a theory but stay with me here... picture a board meeting setting. "Shit guys were gonna lose alot of money off of this what are we gonna do? We have to change alot in the game with not much time and we dont wanna spend anything." "I know! We'll just wing it at first, -blam!- the bugs we'll get to them later. Hell thats even better!! We can restore faith in them and give them what everyone wants... Hope!" "Excellent idea give that man a raise!" "Well what are we gonna do with just a half assed game?" "Ha! Thats easy. We will set up the forums, you know how nerds love their forums haha! Then we can tell them were listening and we want to know what needs fixing (haha as if we dont already know haha) and what we can improve on (a hell of alot but we gave them some basics to go off of,but we got money to think about haha) and to keep up the fight guardians! Then we will take the most requested ideas and changes and make those the most expensive." "Man this guys batting 1000! Haha i love it!" "We will give them minor fixes here and there to restore faith, put together some half baked dlcs with some other changes that are wanted but not craved. But we gotta give them one thing good so they dont think we hate them."(reference to etheric light) "Keep going!" "Ok then we gotta make sure to put a unicorn in there. You know some mythical thing that everyone wants but is super hard to get, gotta have that play time. Then when we give them a big chunk of what they want for a big price, we'll get a huge new customer base with a lot of advertising and a cheap ass price and repeat the process!" "This man is amazing where did you come from???" (Stands up takes a bow and leaves knowing his job is secure) Well what do you think? Try not to be to critical on my grammar and punctuation errors, i just smoked a fat bowl haha:)

                    • What this is is a clear example of the disloyal, disrespectful, and dishonest character of the Bungievision brass. Marty went above and beyond when tasked with creating the music for Destiny. Rather than writing the music just for this game, he wrote an 8 movement symphony for the entire franchise. He went above and beyond what was asked of him. When the E3 2013 was put together, rather than using Marty's score as it was intended, Asstivision elected to strip out his music and replace it with their own. Marty as a founder and Audio Director was understandably upset and to protect Bungie's reputation, creative process, and artistic integrity he let the world know that this was not Bungie's music it was Assitvision's music in the trailer. I would have done the same thing. Asstivision elected to overstep their responsibility as the publisher and essentially forced Bungievision to terminate Marty. Claiming that Marty's actions may have constituted a "breech of contract" and implying a legal action. Bungie brass elected to draft a Termination and Separation agreement with the intent of firing O'Donnell. Despite the fact that the catalyst for the entire situation was Asstivision commandeering the music for the game. Their "control" being threatened by the Music of the Spheres score and its intended release to the public pre game release. This has all become a character issue for me. I will stand by my friends and would take a bullet for my friends. I would not pull a friend in front of me to take it. I would not stab a friend in the back to protect myself. This is without a doubt the most disgusting situation Ive seen since Asstivision forced West and Zampella out of Infinity Ward. How odd that two of the most notable legal issues in gaming have come with Asstivision b***s deep in both of them. Its time for Bungie to release the Music of the Spheres to the public, let them hear it, and decide for themselves. This has become a character issue for me now. My money is too valuable for me to put it into a Franchise that to borrow from Ruxin on The League, is "Forever Unclean". Marty was trying to protect Bungie's artistic integrity and reputation by taking a stand. Marty's Bungie would not have released the game in the Late Term Gaming Abortion condition it is in. Marty's Bungie would have stood strong on IT'S development and behind its people. In the Asstivision's Bungievision they will sh!t on the players, while stabbing its own in the back then firing them. This is about character for me now. This is about supporting an individual developer that has given all of us some of the most beautiful music in the history of gaming. Who always gave 110% in his work. Who prized the loyal gamers who love Bungie and their work and was not willing to have Bungies reputation compromised by an overbearing publisher. Anyone with any level of intellectual honesty and loyalty will see this situation for what it truly is. A stand by an individual developer against and overbearing, overzealous, corrupt publisher. God Bless Marty O'Donnell and I thank him for his masterful work.
