2nd Character | Warlock or Titan?
I have a hunter which has been my main since I started playing Destiny. I have always wondered if I would be better or worse with a different class.
I'm wondering if I would benefit from being a Titan or a Warlock.
Let me give you my play style if that helps. I run with Red Death in PvP and Bad JuJu in PvE.
I play a medium distance style of play. I use a shotgun for close quarter encounters only, I don't run around with it.
I enjoy the speed of the hunter and it's double jumps. I run Gun Slinger mostly but Blade Dancer is a nice subclass.
However I find the mele attacks to be underwhelming. Also, the supers in PvP can be hit or miss. Golden Gun is a beast, but sometimes you only get 1-2 kills with it. Blade Dancer is nice, but people have gotten better at defending against it and sometimes you can't get in close.
Well, if you were me... Titan? Warlock? or stay focused on my Hunter?
DECISION: I started a Warlock as my second and leveled him to 20. Was fun, but didn't feel right. Started a 3rd character Titan... Holy Shit!!!! bad ass.

I played a hunter exclusively for a while. I made a warlock that got deleted due to his crappyness. Then a buddy talked me into making a titan. Now that's all I play on. My titan is my favorite character and I wish I'd made him sooner

Titan's are the best! Then Warlock, Hunter. Imo

Great post. Titan > All. Titan like Tank. Titan smash everything. Titan be bubble man. Bubble man punch everything. Bubble man make orbs for everyone. Bubble man blind mean enemy. Titan friend with everyone. But Titan the best. I am Last Titan Alive.

Coming from a Hunter as well, I liked the Warlock class a lot more than the Titan class when I went to work on my 2nd and 3rd character.

As another person who played as just a hunter until the middle of the dark below i say make a titan it feels better to me when jumping and i generally do pretty well with it

4 RepliesI'm in the same dilemma... I deleted a redundant character today. I know I'm going to create a new character for TTK, and I know it won't be a hunter. Warlock will be a new experience, but Titans will be epic with that Hammer of Sol. Guess I have a few more days to decide...

I started warlock and went Titan cause jumps were somewhat alike. Good luck to you, I really recommend warlock but Titan is great

They are all fun to play for different reasons. Might take you a while to get used to the different jumps Titans and Warlocks have. Hunter jumps work differently

I'm a hunter and if you have to leave being a hunter, be a Titan.

Create titan when ttk come out so you can get the spark of light then farm good weapons new iron banner items trials of osiris items and raid stuff

I would do a Titan for pve or a warlock for pvp. People only like the warlock for self res in pve, but they are overpowered in pvp. The Titan is super helpful in raids and high level strikes.

Warlock will definitely benefit you more. As a Titan main, it pains me to say this, but go with Warlock. They're the happy medium between Titan and Hunter.

Make a warlock now so you can get lvl 34 before TTK then make a Titan when TTK comes out and you can get lvl 25 automatically.
