Have to say,...your timing is piss poor Bungie. All those desperate -blam!-ers who are left scrambling around trying to get their Moments of Triumph completed,.......and with very little time left to do it, Destiny is offline for scheduled maintenance!!?? Bullshit!! Also, what about those who only just bought the game a couple of months back or just yesterday for that matter, how the frigg do they stand a chance of completing the Moments of Triumph with the same level of success as someone who's had the game for way longer? It's just not gonna happen is it, especially when you factor in the various other rigors of life that mean some folk can't be constantly Flynning it all day!! Not very evenly balanced! I might add,...how the -blam!- is anyone supposed to complete Moments of Triumph when there are certain glitches that prevent you from achieving particular segments?!!
Ninja Edit
Hello OP (or anyone who has decided to open the spoiler and read all of this).
I'm one of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We may have met before, we may have interacted, you might have heard of us, or you may have no clue as to who we are and what we do. Well, this little note is to explain some of the things we do. One of the major roles we play is to handle the reports that come in whenever a member clicks on the "Report" button, to let us know that there is a post, a topic or a user that either doesn't understand or isn't following the rules that we all agreed to follow when we joined. But that's not the Ninja function that brought on this note.
The reason I am writing this is because I have retagged your thread. Bungie.Net uses hashtags to designate their major forums and to help keep things organized. Your OP (original post) was opened, created or given a hashtag that well, wasn't the best choice. It could have been that you were browsing through the various forum/tags that are available on the site or app, and clicked on "New Topic" while in a forum that didn't "match up" with the subject matter of your OP. Or, you may have thought "this belongs here", when unfortunately, it doesn't.
That's another role of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We not only try to keep things fun, pleasant and welcoming here by removing rule-breakers, but we also want EVERY good topic to have the best chance to survive, thrive, find the right audience, and get lots of on-topic replies. And so, I have retagged your topic to move it to the forum where it has the best chance of doing that.
I give you my word that I have not altered a single letter or character of your Original Post, just placed this message below it and set the tag to better describe your topic. You may notice that you are unable to edit this post anymore. That is a part of the system, and I apologize for any inconvenience that it may have caused. I've not replied or commented on your OP, since this message would most likely be "off-topic" to your thread and when members see a Ninja or Mentor (who are volunteers from the community) or even a Bungie employee post, they tend to go a little crazy and the disruption to the thread becomes a distraction. I don't want that to happen to your thread. I want it to be in the BEST place possible, to be seen by the largest audience who is looking for this sort of topic, I want it to take root, get replies, grow strong and make these forums a better place.
If you have any questions, you should feel free to PM me. My name is now in the upper right corner of your OP where it says "edited by".
Thanks for your patience, thanks for being a part of this community, thanks for taking the time to read all of this (I hid it in a spoiler so that anyone who clicked couldn't complain about "too long, didn't read"), and thank you in advance for creating your future topics with the forum/tag location in mind.

Dear Recon, #SeventhCoulmn? Really? Shouldn't it be #Feedback where all complaints are to be filed?
-
Moments of triumph is meant for day 1 players that didn't wait til the last minute to get everything you were supposed to get in a year.
-
Bruh.. Chill. The moments of triumph was extended a week.
-
Wow, angry little twat ain't you? If you get this upset over a videogame you may want to consider a new hobby. As numerous people have pointed out there's been plenty time to do it and maintenance is usually announced a few days in advance. I mean -blam!- sake, what is wrong with people nowadays....
-
Really? The moments of Triumph weren't designed to cater to people who bought the game a month or even a few weeks ago. That being said, I have helped a couple of people who are brand new to the game complete theirs so your argument is invalid. They already extended the deadline once, would it be better if they just handed it to you?
-
TIME TOO OP Bungie NERF it!
-
Edited by NC Parzival: 9/7/2015 2:17:03 PMI don't even have time to explain, why you don't have time to complain.
-
Its called tough luck my friend. I didnt complete the moments of triumph and ive had the game since it came out. You dont see my bitching about it do you?
-
i understand this but dont be complaining... you had plenty of time to complete thingss
-
You have got to be shitting me... Are you really ranting about not enough time to do moments of triumph?
-
Edited by AwesomObot: 9/8/2015 2:10:00 PMIt's a year one thing If u bought destiny a few weeks ago you're not rly a year one player Sorry
-
Have fun doing Skolas as a 32!
-
Why do people care so much about an emblem?
-
We've had an entire year to do it..
-
Read the weekly updates. They are extending the MoT to the 15th.
-
Lol how have people not finished their moments yet? Shit was so easy.
-
You had like three months to finish your Triumphs. You still have a week.

Edited by cViking: 9/8/2015 1:55:29 PMWhy are you so mad about this bro, they are getting ready to put through the 2.0 patch and with this they have to go offline for maintenance to make sure everything goes fine because it is a very very big patch. They notified us this was going to happen over a week ago, if you plan poorly around the games maintenance that is your own fault. One other thing I would like to add is Bungie handle the MoT just fine, even extending the MoT by 2 weeks. You were notified well ahead of time with plenty of time to complete it as well as Destiny is like an MMO, although it is not it has some aspects of an MMO, Most MMO's I have ever played usually go offline from time to time usually at least 1 time a month for maintenance because it is necessary to help make the game and online servers run better and make sure they are prepared for any upcoming changed to the game.
-
Your point is so invalid. 1) The original deadline was August 31st. They only extended because of generosity. 2) How the he'll is someone going to complete moments of triumphs of they "just got the game yesterday or a week ago?" 3) I'm pretty sure it's not going to be offline until reset so stop your bitching and complaining
-
Edited by III URBAN III: 9/8/2015 1:31:20 PMI'm guessing you're missing the point here with moments of triumph? It's something that spanned the whole first year, an award to those who conquered the first year plot content: If you've just jumped on now, you're not going to be able to do it anytime soon, which you cannot complain about.
-
Only announced it 3 months ago in fairness. Entirely their fault.... Jesus some people
-
MoT was extended to Monday dipshit
-
Who cares...
-
Edited by Mobius030: 9/7/2015 2:19:47 PMI'm online right now. Probably because ps4. I would help but can't. Best of luck completing the triumphs. Remember you have until the 14th to do so. Best to go to recruitment forums and knock everything out asap. That's how I perceived your post.
-
I have an honest question for you, how do you even intend on doing Skolas when the highest character on your account currently is 32? Also it says you have not done either Atheon or Crota on hard.
-
Like you've got the authority to complain, douchebag.
