Okay, I'm not especially vocal about my complaints when something gets under my skin, but I think I'm probably joining the fold of [b]many[/b] other veteran Guardians who are more than slightly upset to hear that exotics we worked very hard to acquire are going to be left by the wayside in two short weeks. Speaking for myself personally, it ruined my day (very literally, I was (am) in a rotten mood) to hear that my two favorite guns in the whole game had been bluntly hurled into the, "we're not bringing this into year two," bin. And, as it may happen, they're two of the most coveted exotics of all: the Vex Mythoclast and the Necrochasm. My Vex(s) are very special to me, and very sentimental because that gun was what made me give Destiny another chance after my initial, "meh," before I could do the raid, before I met a wonderful group of Guardians to play with. It was on my very first try at Vault of Glass (h) that my Vex dropped, and it's all I've ever shot in PvP. I love the gun so much I outfitted all three of my guardians with 365 versions. And my Necrochasm, for all the shortcomings the community finds with it, is my favorite gun to shoot. I blatantly forgo "smarter" choices because I love how the gun looks, how it fires, and how it rewards me with pretty blue fireworks for not being the worst shot in the known universe. Bungie, WHY? I am aware that Deej said before that the time we spent on our exotic collections should be respected, and that [he] didn't want us to ever look at our favorite guns and feel like we can't shoot them anymore because they are obsolete now. And I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. My sister is up in arms about Ice Breaker not moving forward, other Guardians are spitting mad that the very best rocket launcher in the game is getting nerfed, and then left behind to boot! TL;DR: [b]We Guardians love our exotics, and we are not content to sit back while our favorite toys are taken away. We were sort of promised that our time was valuable, our memories, stories, and favorite tools of the trade are valuable. Make us believe that! Please bring *all* of our exotics forward!
