Glimmer farming
Haven't farmed glimmer in a while, what are the best spots to do this? Iron banner wiped me out.

Exclusion Zone modified. Kill everything, but a couple of red bar Cabal. Let them kill you and repeat.

POE 28s have a tendency of dishing out those 2500 & 5000 glimmer things pretty liberally.

2 RepliesSiege of the warmind mission on lvl 30. Complete it up to the part when the orge is summoned, do not kill him instead go to one of the sides where a Major Knight and 3 acolytes continuously spawn. Stand there and use a black wax idol and just Heavy/Super/Shotgun the crap outta that spawn. I can go from 0-25000 glimmer in about an hour doing this. Also engrams and consumables frequently drop. Exclusion Zone... make sure you're on the lowest difficulty for hard mode (I think lvl 19). Use a supply code. The second wave of enemies are all majors. Make sure you leave one alive or you'll initiate the second part of the mission. Commit suicide. Rinse and repeat. Keep using you're supply codes and you'll get glimmer feom all those baddies.

For something different and if you can solo the abyss wait by the bridge on Crotas end before you go to stage 2. Endless thrall and easy as pie.

Just watched a few videos. I'll prolly stick with exclusion. But I want to try the one on Venus where u get the vehicle that shoots then go to where the servitude is and kill everything then just go back and hold down the shoot button til u max out glimmer. It'll work good if u can set ur controller down on the trigger and walk away.

Exculsion zone or gatekeeper. You can get about 20k an hour at exclusion, 40k at gatekeeper

1 ReplyDo raids, sell material to speaker. Or farm the gatekeeper checkpoint on VoG with polyphage on. Another good spot is on Exclusion zone, there is an area near the start of the mission with like 10 cabal majors and a couple regular ones, kill all majors leave one guy alive, die repeat.

4 RepliesEdited by Doos: 9/1/2015 4:41:36 PMGet cabal resupply codes. Do the very first mission on mars. Kill everything but one. Let the last one kill you. Restart and repeat. I was at 22 glimmer and went up to 11000 in about 30 minutes. You get about (edit:) 500 glimmer each time.

HM CE is the fastest each week, takes like 15 minutes to do a run and you can leave with a ton of glimmer. you get 250 glimmer for each shard and 200 for each energy.(trading them into the speaker) you can break down any gear you get along the way for more shards/energy. only downside is you can only do it once per week per character.
