So apparently all our legendary weapons are going to become obsolete in destiny year two, we will no longer be able to make old weapons modern with etheric light. Most of the reactions I've seen to this have been rather welcoming, whereas I have very different feelings. I'd like to get an idea of what others think about these new changes, so i know whether or not to worry. My initial thoughts: my favorite thing to do in destiny is to collect legendary weapons, with the best possible rolls, and blow stuff up with them. I've literally spent hundreds of hours getting what in my mind are perfect weapons (Red Hand 9, Vanquisher 8, and the Saterienne Rapier are a few of my favorites). I don't care how good the new stuff is (I'm sure it'll be great) I want to be able to keep using my old stuff, that I've invested time and effort in, and not be pigeonholed into using other weapons because they simply do more damage against the new high-leveled opponents. Anyone else have thoughts on this change? Think they'll go through with it? I was going to pre-order the taken king, now I'm having second thoughts. Should I not be worried?
