Dear Bungie...,l

Bungie, I'm sure you won't read this, but on the off chance you do, I would like to say "vaya con dios amigos/amigas"! I have played the living hell out of this game since it's release. I actually love the game; it's a fun, and quite addictive, time-killer! However, I haven't played in the last month, and probably will not play again, because I'm sorely disappointed in some of the choices you're making regarding future content/gameplay. At first, I was a little miffed with your TTK scheme, and that moron, Luke Smith, who basically disrespected us players/fans, by making that official announcement wherein he basically referred to all of us as sheep. Maybe not in those exact words, but the message itself was exactly that. So, I played a little less. And I was on the fence about donating another dime toward Bungie. Secondly, and most important, what had helped make up my mind regarding my decision to avoid playing Destiny all-together, was the over-haul (nerfing) of nearly every current weapon in the game. Really?? I got my Ghallie just a few months ago, finally. And now you wanna nerf it because some children feel that they should be given a Ghallie instead of working for it like many of us had to. Absolutely BS! And shotguns? The damn weapon sucked for PvE prior to the last buff and simply collected dust in my vault, if I kept any at all. You honestly think it is OP when I am going up against an elite captain in a nightfall with lightswitch active? Hell, it is suicide to get that damn close to those OP'd Fallen juggernauts even with the current shotgun's firepower. Bungie, the weapons do not need to be nerfed! Yeah, the damn Thorn and TLW can be a little OP, but that is because some of the perks for weapons do not work as they should. TLW has too much range; more so than what the damn range bar in the stats of the weapon suggests. I've stated this time and time again, but the "high caliber round" perk doesn't work. That particular perk would off-set the Thorn's ability to be OP. If an opponent wielding a Thorn can not make three headshots quickly because my weapon is staggering them, therefore, preventing them from shooting effectively, then the Thorn is no longer OP! If you just fixed the perks and made the perks/stats work the way they're suppose to, then there would be a lot less complaining about OP'd weapons and no real need for you to go silly nerfing everything and taking away resources that could be used to fix other areas, like your damn servers. My bad, you don't actually have any servers. Well there you go, get your own damn servers and stop relying on a 2nd party for what is an important part of the game; servers that are reliable for an online game! It is an online game, right? So why would you go all scrooge on such a necessary component of an online game?? Look, if y'all can just get your heads' out of each others' asses, then I just might continue Baaaa'ing my way into Gamestop for future Destiny games. But I don't see how that is possible. I think your heads are so far up into those holes, that it'd take Oryx himself several slaps upside the back of your brain-housing groups to knock some sense into y'all. The party was fun, for a decent part of your first year, thank you! p.s. 10 yrs, really?? LOL

  • Yep, nerf the weapons while leaving bugs and glitch's that really frustrate the players. They can say all they want on how good and how much more TTK is going to have, but they said that about the others too, and there really wasn't. Just like they said that there would more story in them, yet I still don't know why we were fighting for the Queen, nor do I really know anything about Crota, other than I was to go kill him - because they said he was a bad guy. They showed no real remorse, nor gave any real apology for things that were said, and now they have told us that our old weapons will have to be replaced - I thought they said they learned better, after the first DLC. I guess not.
